I suffered a temporomandibular disc displacement during his procedure; he doesn't calculate the force he's exerting on the patient's jaw. Now I have lasting effects almost two months later. :/

Hi Rosa, thank you for your review. Two months ago, you had your last appointment where you had cavities removed, nothing that involved applying force to your jaw. However, during those two months, you didn't mention any discomfort until now, along with your review, where you tell us you went to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon because of pain. In your medical history, in the information you filled out yourself, you indicated that you already suffered from jaw joint problems and bruxism, which we recommended you address after the cavities were removed. A displaced disc does not occur as a result of a cavity removal, which, I reiterate, does not involve applying force to your jaw, Rosa. Also, as a side note, the work was done on the upper jaw, not the lower jaw. Perhaps your oral and maxillofacial surgeon can advise you on this matter. That day you grew tired of standing with your mouth open, even though it was a relatively short time, since the treatment didn't require prolonged time. We always strive to provide the best care to our patients. If you don't inform us of any subsequent discomfort, we can't help or address the problem, which, I emphasize, was pre-existing and was so well-known that it's documented in your medical record. You were never denied care; on the contrary, we were unaware of your recent discomfort, which we would have gladly discussed together.
Dr. Nathaly and her assistant, Julia, provide excellent care and the highest quality service. I had a crown replaced and cavities filled and am very glad I found them while visiting in GDL
