We were able to stay in an apartment very close to the Dental Clinic which helped during our recovery and appointments and I would definitely recommend Smile and the team for this type of procedure.

opening your mouth and even conversing with people you don't know well. You do lose your smile and it's difficult to eat properly. Having been left a small inheritance when my mother passed away in December 2021, I decided to spend it on having my mouth fully restored. This was not enough to do it in Scotland or anywhere else in the UK so I started to look for clinics with good reviews elsewhere in Europe where prices were lower. The first ones I tried, in Turkey and Hungary would only do the implants after bone grafts, sinus lifts and membrane transplants as I had severe bone loss, in my upper jaw in particular. I then found out about immediate loading monobloc basal implants. I was on the verge of going to have this procedure done, also in Hungary, but they would not give a final price and every procedure was itemised. They also insisted I be examined at their London clinic, which I did. An expensive and wasted journey from the Isle of Skye ( where I live ). So I looked for other clinics doing this procedure and came across Smile Dental Services in the beautiful city of Sofia, Bulgaria. I read the reviews, got a quote for the treatment, and decided this was the right clinic. I arrived in Sofia on 26th of February this year. The next day I met the Smile team in their small, clean well equiped clinic. These lovely people know what they are doing, they are relaxed confident and professional. Fees paid and x-ray taken, Dr Dimitrov arrives. He studies the x-ray and then off we go... 3 hours later, I have no teeth, no pain and 6 implants in each jaw. A taxi then returned me to my hotel. Obviously after such high level dental surgery there is bleeding and swelling along with numbness from the local anaesthetic. I had to stay up late into the night, not because of any pain, but so I didn't get blood on the bed !! Casts are taken of your mouth throughout the procedure and on the next day I walked around the old city of Sofia until I was messaged to return to the clinic.The prosthetic technician was there and so were my long term temporary bridges for a trial fitting !! The next day, March 1st, these were ready, they were fitted and I had wonderful new teeth. In 3 days !! The first of March is an important day in Bulgarian culture... Martenitsa, it signals the start of spring and I was presented with red and white Martenitsi wristbands by both the hotel Orborishte 63, where I was staying, and the dental nurse at Smile. Lovely gestures from lovely people. I just cannot recommend this team enough. If you have missing teeth, bone loss and gum disease issues..these folk can sort it in less than a week. It is now just over 2 weeks since my new teeth were fitted. They are comfortable, look amazing, and feel natural. I can't wait to return in 6-18 months time, when the implants are fully integrated into the bone, to have my permanent bridges placed. Just 2 things to add Take plenty of swabs to absorb the blood after the operation. Yoghurt and soft tinned fish are good when you have no teeth for a day or two. I am from Varna, but I have been living in Switzerland for 30 years. I had a mild form of periodontal disease for a long time, but a tooth constantly needed to be treated or built (and again after 2 years). Dr. Dimitrov I won the lottery, so to speak! I was in Sofia with my son (14 years old) and we were at the Crystal Palace Hotel, 1 minute walk away. We arrived on Sunday, and on Monday I had an appointment for an OP procedure. On Monday, Dr. Dimitrov met me and asked if I had any specific questions. Then the anesthesiologist took me and did an ECG and informed me about permanent medications and surgery. Everything else lasted about 2-3 hours (I had 19-20 teeth removed) and Dr. Dimitrov put in my implants. From that moment on, I had several visits to Dr. Mutalibov, who took care of me constantly. And he told me that I would never forget him. And so it was, with the help of Plamen Belchev (chief dental technician), who treated me with great attention during the first try (thank you). I read a lot in advance and everything is luck, so I put the cards and decided that Smile would be my luck, which was justified and proven. The team is great, the manager Lachezar is available for any inquiries and documents, great. Dr. Dimitrov did a great job and to this day I have no problems.

months since temporary ones in not a problem at all bearing in mind temporary ones are glued in am here now waiting for proper ones to be screwed in full teem are fully professional and know this job inside out they all care for a proper result if they think it will not work they will not do it best in world by fat

looked, I’m just over the moon with my new smile, the response from family and friends are just unbelievable they said they are just unreal and so natural looking… ❤️after months of research on line looking for the best dental practice I came across Smile . I had extremely bad teeth loose veneers from previous work many years ago, I had major bone loss so I thought implants were not for me, Until I came across Smile and read review’s, I got In contact with them and got a correspondence immediately, sent off my X-ray and was emailed a few days later with my dental plan , . Going to Smile Clinic snd meeting the wonderful Dr Dimitrov and his fantastic dental team, was a life changing experience for me and I shall forever be so grateful too them all for giving me my smile back, my confidence is back, my appetite has improved so much, I’m delighted with different types of food I now can eat again .. ..Thank you all so so much for yer upmost professional manner, also the kind and friendly taxi drivers collected from the airport brought to your hotel and also to bring you to your dental appointment’s always greeted with a friendly smile and kind words .. a completely different system on the top arch as the bottom which would be a problem but the bigger problem is that all the implants are failing and they made so many attempts that my jaw bone is like Swiss cheese and my gum is so destroyed that dentures will not even work. Because their is nothing to hold them in. The clinic is unwilling to make anything right or return my 18000 or so ,they have been paid so I can get my health restored and be able to eat solid food again. I AM DOING A 30 MINUTE VIDEO INTERVIEW WITH A CONSUMER WATCHDOG THAT WILL POST EVERYTHING ONLINE LOOK FOR MY STORY AND SHARE YOUR S. There is a support group starting that is helping other patients come forward and discuss their issues with the clinic .UPDATE— THEY TRIED TO EXTORT ME BY FILING A POLICE REPORT SAYING I WAS THREATENING THEM IF I DIDNT REMOVE MY REVIEWS. WELL THEY ACTUALLY DID FILE A REPORT FILLED WITH LIES TO TRY AND KEEP ME FROM FILING SUIT AGAINST THEM AND COMPLAINTS TO THE MEDICAL BOARD FOR MALPRACTICE AND BODILY INJURY. I WILL UNFORTUNATELY HAVE TO SUIT THEM TO GET RELIEF. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR FAKE REVIEWS LIKE I WAS THERE ARE LOTS OF REPUTABLE SURGEONS IN SOFIA FOR FAR LESS MONEY. TRUST ME!

The result after multiple surgeries and half way attempts to repair has left me toothless and unable to eat and in the need of yet multiple surgeries and years of healing intervals in between.at present I half 2 completely different implant systems installed / basal on 5he bottom and conventional up top which now all have failed and I need surgeries to remove all of them and do bone augmentation and sinus lifts. I still cannot smell . I tried to just get my money refunded to go elsewhere to have done but they were not interested in helping me but in fact threatened to file a law suit if I didn’t go away and remove my reviews. Well they filed a complaint with the police and falsely accused me of threatening them This is an effort to revoke my visa and make it difficult for me to file suit. I paid almost 20,000 now I have to pay far more than that to start over and it will take 18 months to complete. All I wanted was my money back to get the care to correct his butchery. Not a penny more or less. IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT TO CHANCE GOING THROUGH??????? I HOPE NOT !,!! HE IS EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE COMPETENT SURGEONS IN SOFIA AND THERE ARE GOOD ONES.

If you can believe it, the doctor has filed a complaint with the police in an attempt to make it out that he is the victim of threats and extortion so that he doesn’t have to correct the problem or return my money.
