procedure took less than an hour. I usually dread the dentist but this whole process was painless and the most comfortable I’ve ever been at the dentist. Above all else Dr. Christy was so kind! Serenity Smile Center in Ubud I have visited the center twice and have been impressed by the dentist Christine and her staff. I recently visited Serenity Dentist and I'm extremely satisfied with my visit! The staff is welcoming and professional, and the dentist took the time to explain each step of the treatment with great patience. The atmosphere in the office is pleasant and reassuring. Composite veneer chipped 2.5 months after I got it done. I was very careful with it so it's not like I bit into something hard, it just cracked on its own. Why this place has 5 star reviews is beyond me because even as I was getting the tooth done it was clear that they weren't super focused on doing a good job, and I have to admit that I chose the place because of the reviews. up filing the back side of the tooth and I'm not sure why this was necessary, as composite veneers are supposed to be far less invasive than other types of veneers. Now I have a cracked tooth that is thinner than it was before I started. That's not good. EDIT: The crack I can live with, it can be fixed. It's the fact that they filed the back of the tooth that I find unforgivable. I don't see why it was necessary and I'm likely to have issues with this tooth in the future. I would not recommend this clinic based purely on my experience.

I got a good clean but it was almost the same price as NZ. The reason for the low star is that I was recommended 4 fillings that were not needed as they are only discolorations, so be cautious. At Smiles I was told I didn't need x-rays to see if there were cavities and give a quote for the fillings at 1,300k each which is higher than I was quoted elsewhere. ed no penetration of the enamel simply discoloration which I could treat preventively but better to wait and keep an eye on. There was no official price list just a rough estimate on a piece of paper. It left me feeling a lack of trust and accountability - which is why I got a second opinion. Injections for fillings are at additional charge also.

Dear Kim McKay, Upon thoroughly examining your teeth, you did in fact have cavities. I not only performed a visual and manual examination of your cavities with a sickle probe, but I also used an intraoral camera to re-confirm you have cavities. I gave you a transparent and fair price quote for cost of the fillings. I also informed you “it was not necessary for you to have your cavities filled during you visit, but I highly advised you to not allow a long period of time of time to pass before having your cavities fixed, due to the fact that over time the cavities will worsen and spread according to the national board of dentistry guidelines.” You chose not to get your cavities filled that day which is your prerogative. I was very open, transparent, and professional. It’s unfortunate that you were not pleased. Myself and my staff take every opportunity to do our best to offer the best care to all of our patients, including you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I had a tooth treated and a filling put in. Seven months later, it fell out. I went back. I paid again and they put another filling in. After a month and a half, I started experiencing discomfort, pain, and the tooth started feeling feverish. My messages are being ignored.
I had my wisdom tooth removed here . The service was highly competent , sanitary and professional . My experience here was great. I contacted them through WhatsApp because I thought I needed some fillings. I had an appointment and we got all the fillings done in the same session. It was quick, affordable and they did a fantastic job. I will certainly be returning here for any future dental needs.
