impressed. Thereafter I liased with Liam who is based in the UK. He explained in general the procedures available, although a face to face consultation is a MUST as every patient is different and only after viewing both CT scan and several Xrays did the dentist have an accurate picture and could coordinate a treatment plan. We decided we'd Go, and Liam coordinated everything for us... We were met by our very friendly and welcoming driver Mickey . We were taken to our chosen hotel and given our appointment for the same afternoon. We were picked up and taken to the clinic. There the girls Katya & co... ( receptionists) introduced them selves and were both helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, all are lovely girls 💗 We then met our dentist, the amazing Dr Ana. We can't speak nor recommend her highly enough.... she is just Wonderful 💗 She explained everything in laymens terms. She went through every last detail to the letter, she explained what procedures and options were available to me. She explained any risk factors and the timescales between procedures and the reasoning behind it.... I had been petrified of the dentist my entire life😣 and after one consultation with Dr Ana I felt completely at ease....💗 within the first couple of visits I knew I could trust her, and I did 💗she is so knowledgeable and has the most beautiful delivery, the passion she has for her chosen profession is second to none 💗 she has both empathy and sympathy with her patients, and will stop at nothing until her patient is 100% happy and she is totally confident and happy with her work... in fact my husband was initially only going to accompany me, and was so impressed with the entire set up that is SODC that he too met with Dr Ana and he underwent 1 years with of treatment and like me is absolutely delighted with his end result 😃😃😃smiles all round 😁😁😁 My journey from start to finish was quite lengthy and a bit uncomfortable at times, although I must also give Dr Peter, the implant surgeon 10/10 also for the work he done.... he's another STAR 😃 Everyone we've encountered from the drivers, to the management, and Brigitta at aftercare have been exemplary... so proffessional and friendly 💗 I can eat what I like, when I like, where I like 😂 I can sneeze 😂 I can cough 😂 I can smile 😂 and I can kiss my lovely husband😂😂😂without panicking 😂😂 and all at a quarter of the price I was quoted in the UK.... All joking aside , I would not ever hesitate in recommending this wonderful team 💗 the change in my life is immense and it was the best money I have ever spent 💗💗💗

the experiences they had enjoyed with SODC. No, not a strange word to use, enjoy is the correct word as you will agree if you keep reading my story. A warm welcome afforded me by my driver was again bestowed genuinely by the reception team at the clinic as it continued to be by everyone I met there.My treatment entailed three trips, I have had 3 annual check ups since and one visit so far to initiate my wife’s treatment and now I am greeted with hugs when I arrive from my now extended family !! I actually look forward to going to the dentist 😀 For me the treatment involved a 2 day trip to begin treatment, check whether I needed bone augmentation ( fortunately not in my case which would have added time and about £800 to the process)etc, & teeth extraction. I then returned 5 months later for 3 days during which time the real surgery was undertaken. I had all 8 implants in one hit and as the surgeon said, I saw everything,I felt everything but absolutely no pain. The final visit was 5 days for moulds to be taken, teeth to be chosen, bridge to be constructed, fitted and a day or so to enjoy Budapest testing the teeth before final check on the way to the airport. Of course, there was discomfort during the process....you can’t have 8 implants with associated scaffolding without bruising, a couple of days sporting no teeth, swelling etc...but no pain despite it being very invasive surgery. The consultation was very thorough, including 360 X-ray, an explanation of what I needed and whether I could also achieve the smile I had dreamt of. At no time did I feel I was being “oversold” with unnecessary procedures and, indeed, asked to return home to consider before going ahead. The costing was broken down step by step with a further 3% discount offered for sterling cash. Bearing in mind this was 3 years ago, the best quote at home in the UK I had was £44000 I was delighted to see it reduce to £7500 at SODC. Add about £1000 total for travel/hotels etc and its job done. SODC offer a range of hotels at their corporate charge which is a great saving. Personally I would not choose the Great Western Hungarian from the list. It is basic, usually full of rowdy youngsters and not in as pleasant a location as the others (cheapest though). The Hilton is great as are the others. After 3 years I have recently suffered a failure of the upper denture, not the implants nor bridges, I hasten to add. The clinic managed to accommodate me at very short notice and I was able to turn around the trip including correction very quickly. Neither I nor the Clinic know what caused the clips in the denture to break but everything is fine again now. I have attached some photographs which pull no punches, but please be aware not everyone I met suffered this amount of bruising, that’s just me but the results are amazing and I feel 10 years younger and can’t stop smiling. If you are nervous and want to ask anything of an existing patient I would be very happy to receive contact from you, by phone or email or face to face if you are living somewhere near the coast opposite the Isle of Wight.
