Hi! I began my journey with SODC in 2017 at the age of 67 and finished 14 months later on my 68th birthday feeling like a new person and able to eat again properly for the first time in ages! home in the UK, included the whole of my mouth and provided the added bonus of spending time in the lovely city of Budapest on the famous river Danube. This review might have been written a year ago but I feel is more relevant today now that I have returned from my first annual check-up. Why? Because I can say without reservation that I have enjoyed my year with a full set of teeth, eating whatever I liked when I liked and that the feeling of joy is as strong today as it was when I had the photo taken at the end of my treatment. Positively no regrets! So why SODC? It started with my wife having a single implant here in the UK costing around £2,000. At the same time my history of needing constant dental work had left me with a lot of gaps and little to 'bite' with. On seeking advice I was told I needed at least 8 implants at a cost of £2,000 each - ouch! I could not afford this level of cost so having heard that there were specialist centres in Hungary I began my search on the internet and contacted two such centres, SODC in Budapest and C-Vitamin Clinic elsewhere in Hungary. To each I sent an OPG (costing about £70) by email together with a request for their advice as to how they might help. Their responses as to possible treatment and costings were surprisingly similar which gave me the confidence to take matters further. I chose SODC because of their location in Budapest and ease of flights. The rest was relatively easy due to the friendly help provided by all at SODC starting with the free consultation right through to the finish of the treatment programme. It is important to make clear that at no time was pressure applied to have any particular treatment; everything was fully discussed; options and costings made clear, and the final decision left to me. I decided to have 6 extractions followed by 2 implants (after bone augmentation to broaden the jaw bone), a 'fixed' lower denture (which 'clips' into place but is easily removed for cleaning), 2 bridges and the remaining teeth ground down and capped to give a totally new look to my smile as well as usable teeth to bite! It was perhaps fortunate that I have no fear of undergoing dental work although having said that everyone at SODC goes to great lengths to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible at all times. So, if you are one of the many people who simply hate visiting the dentist I would urge you not to be put off, give SODC a try and focus on the resulting benefits from treatment to see you through the programme. Note: My treatment programme was a long one because the bone augmentation requires 9 months to pass before the implants can be inserted. Without this the programme would have been much shorter and more straightforward. I hope you find this review of my experience at SODC useful. If you are considering having dental treatment involving more than just one implant I recommend that you get in touch with them and arrange for a free consultation at the end of which you can decide whether or not to proceed with an agreed treatment programme as well as the cost which will be fixed in GBP. As an incentive 'to take the first step' they offer a refund of the cost of your first return flight at the end of an agreed treatment plan.

Absolutely delighted with this clinic. Everyone is so nice and very professional. My husband and I both had our teeth done here by Dr Anna, she is amazing and explained everything that she was going do to us at each appointment. I have always been terrified of the dentist but have no fear whatsoever of going to sodc.

The worst experience in my life is when I had an implant with SODC, the crown falls out the next day and I contacted the clinic concerning the issues. Apparently, they were demanding more money. For me, the clinic is like a scam and personally will not recommend anyone for the service. Please look elsewhere.

My experience of SODC was excellent. I had my implants fitted in January and finished treatment today. Absolutely over the moon with the final result. Big thanks to Dr. Andrea my dentist and Dr. Nora my oral surgeon and assistants, really professional and attention to detail is world class. See you next year for annual check-up!

I have been to the clinic on three occasions now and I have been well looked after each time. All the staff here are excellent. I have my final trip planned for December - can't recommend highly enough.

What can i say about SODC other than they are absolutely first class. The level of care their professionalism is amazing. I have one final treatment in September and can't wait to go back. Anybody thinking about coming here will be making the best choice.

Absolutely first class from the start to the end. Began with asking what I wanted, and gave me an honest opinion on what was achievable given the problems with my teeth. Trust them 100%. I can't speak highly enough about this place. All the staff from the drivers to the receptionists and the dental nurses and dentists are very welcoming and really put you at ease. I visited SODC in January for my initial consultation and had two of my front teeth removed in preparation for my 2nd visit when I had a bridge of 3 teeth fitted and 4 porcelain crowns so 7 teeth in total. Brilliant can't speak higher of this place my 4th visit and I am all done got my smile back they look after you from plane to hotel to appointments and back administration is spot on look after you every step of the way plus very nice city to visit I am so pleased I did my reasurch and was not disappointed

Seriously this has been a fantastic experience. 26 crowns some bridges and smile that will last. Dr Sophie and Clara looked after me. They were considerate gentle and gave me a great smile. Got crowns & Bridge's done back in 2011, 7 years ago, never had any problems. Brought my wife over February 2019. For extractions, Crowns & Bridge's. I wish I had shown the amazing, talented dentist how happy I was with my crown, I was a bit overwhelmed to be honest and forgot to thank him properly. I would recommend SODC without reservation. material used is very dark not matched to my own gum colour ..you can see the teeth glued on so this shows ridges at the top ...i paid over a thousand pounds plus flights and accommodation for 5 days also for this .. my teeth were ready Thursday and i was flying home friday so wasn't much i could do ..now they are extremely loose .. ive contacted SODC abour this and theyve told me to return for an alignment. .i am extremely unhappy and there is no point in returning as its more expensive...i now have to have a new set made in the U.K. ...I didn't want to write this as everyone was so nice but it doesnt always work out for the best.... .thank you for your response but i would say its more than minor the denture is all wrong the colour of it the teeth having marks on where the teeth have been glued on not just the fit for the alignment.. i now need new dentures ..feel really let down by the whole thing

You are talked through all of your treatment plan and are given the choice if you want to proceed or not! One of my friends was really nervous and was constantly reassured. before long i was sat in the Dentist's chair having had an Xray. Dr Sophie and her assistant Clara made me feel so comfortable that i had 11 teeth out there and then!! My treatment is now finished and i am absolutely delighted with the results. Its life changing, being able to smile and having conversations without hiding my mouth behind my hand.... also the health implications...i feel so much better!!. So i would say if you have any doubts and your teeth need sorting do not be scared... it will be fine especially if you decide to use SODC and your lucky enough to be looked after by Dr Sophia and Clara.
