Dr. Diego is by far the best oral surgeon I’ve ever encountered. Had a problematic wisdom tooth that was angled and very difficult to remove and he extracted the tooth in under 5 minutes. Maybe a minute of actual pulling. Highly recommend!!

pleasantly surprised on how well it went. I also spoke to many others that felt the same way. I highly recommend going to Sani for the best dental care ever. Price, professionalism, and caring all made this so awesome. e fluently in both English and Spanish. My dentist, Victoria, was amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and pain-free. Her work was exceptional and I love my new smile! Even though I have to drive 4 hours and cross a boarder to get here, it is 100% worth it. Just went for a cleaning. The dentist didn’t use any manual tools and missed all my usual trouble spots. Paid $35 and my teeth are certainly cleaner than they were, but not the same quality as in the US.

Just wanted to check this place out. Scheduled for exam, X-rays and cleaning. X-rays were great. Exam was terrible. Didn’t use his explorer at all. Took pictures of the surfaces of my teeth and said I had 6 cavities. As a former hygienist, I knew this was a lie. Wanted to start filling them that day. Told my husband the same thing. not use a periodontal probe at all. We finally got a regular cleaning which was OK but definitely not great. We have had regular checkups and cleanings for 50 years. I will never go back to this place. I believe they would have filled perfectly good teeth. Terrible experience!!!

Updated 3/19/26 on Implant Tooth 29 I had an implant placed for tooth #29 on 4/25/25 by Dr Monge. Unfortunately, it failed and had to be removed. A second implant was placed on 7/16/25, but it also failed and was removed again on 3/10/26 by Dr Estrada. ly concerned that a bone graft was not performed at the time of removal on 3/10/26 and I have not yet received a clear explanation or a definitive treatment plan moving forward. On 3/17, spoke to Frank, customer service coordinator, requesting the record dates for the Implant from all doctors, he was not helpful, hostile and very argumentative. I asked to speak to Carlos, who has been in Communication with me and someone else, but he refused. I have also requested my dental records and clarification regarding my case, but have not received any response or acknowledgment. Clear communication is extremely important in situations like this, especially after repeated unsuccessful procedures. At this point, I am seeking a professional resolution and hope the clinic will respond, provide the requested records, and address the situation appropriately. _____________________________________________ I have terrible experiences with Sofia Sanabria at Dental Departures and Sani Dental Group. She was suppose to help coordinating with Sani Dental Platinum Group in Los Algodones, and it turned out to be a disaster. She quoted for me the temporary Flipper/Stay Template to cover for teeth 10,11,12 for $100, and the extraction for #10 for $80 and the appointment was confirmed for Dec 18 at 10AM at Sani Dental, and I will pick up my Flipper on the Dec 19. I left California at 5am trying to get there around 8:30AM, so they can have more time to make the flipper. When I got to Sani Dental Platinum, there was no Appoiment in the book. Then, they transported me to another Sani Dental location near by, and there was still no appointment in the book for the temporary Flipper to be made. Then, I have to waited and finally I saw a Dentist, but he did not want to make the Temporary Flipper for me but suggested that I should wear permanent denture for teeth 10,11,12 and it cost $450. How was this happened? My main purpose is making the Temp Flipper so I can have me implant done in the US for these teeth. Where was the communication between Dental Departures, Sofia with Sani Dental? My time was waisted, and nothing was accomplished. Sani Group Dentist just want to make more money with bad suggestions!!!! Why would I want to pay $450 to make the flipper in Mexico, while it only cost $200 in the US? The main purpose for choosing Los AIgodones dental was to make the cheaper Flipper and Consultation on the Implant Procedures for teeth #11, 12 to see if the implant are cheaper. Sani Dental group Dentist was a disappointment to provide bad advises. None of these had been accomplished by bad Dentist at Sani Dental Group. I will stay away from Sani Dental group particularly, or Mexico Dental overall from now on. After I email Sofia about my experiences, she response back with an execute that due to the Holiday there was not enough people working at the Lab, etc....but this is not the case they suggested me to do for more expensive piece ($450 vs $100), so it was not about lacking of staffs or Holiday issues, but they just want to ripoff people since I am there already. Stay away from this Dental Departures group and Sani Dental Group.
