I had an amazing experience here last week. The service is top notch and I would like to commend Dr Sanjeet and RC (not sure if the spellings are correct). But nevertheless, they provided an excellent service. Even provided some advice how to take care further for my teeth. My 3 young children and I had the most excellent treatment and care provided by Dr Sanjit Singh during their summer break. The experience was top class from the front desk reception team right through to the dental care team. My oldest son (especially) who is 11 years old, suffers from slight anxiety but he was so calm and relaxed throughout the treatment. Dr Singh was very personable, reassuring and he explained everything step by step to make sure my children knew exactly what was happening at all times. I got an icon treatment for my fluorosis with Dr Sanjit which subsequently and unexpectedly revealed leftover buttons that were not removed by a previous dentist following Invisalign. He kindly reviewed the literature to make sure it was safe to remove the buttons with icon treatment on board, and redid the icons on my teeth! Dr Sanjit was knowledgeable and kind throughout the consultation, and gave me tips on dental hygiene and whitening in general whilst waiting for the icon to set.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction done at this clinic, and while the surgery itself was ultimately successful, the overall experience left me feeling dismissed, pressured, and emotionally drained as a patient. Before this, I had considered other clinics—cheaper ones with gentler reputations. But I’d had such good experiences with Dr. Puvan and Dr. Sanjit in the past that I chose to trust this clinic, believing I’d be in good hands again. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this time. I was recommended to undergo general anesthesia and remove all three wisdom teeth, even though I only needed the lower one extracted for orthodontic reasons. When I declined and opted to proceed with just the lower tooth under local anesthesia, the tone shifted. I felt subtle pressure and was repeatedly told that general anesthesia would be “better.” It didn’t feel like informed consent—it felt like being pushed. To clarify, I wasn’t refusing treatment altogether—I just had a more urgent reason to get the bottom wisdom tooth removed first. It was directly blocking the progress of my aligners, and my Invisalign treatment had already been stuck longer than expected. Yes, I plan to get the upper ones removed too—just not right now. I just wanted to move forward with my treatment, not delay it further. During the procedure, the attending surgeon showed visible frustration, made comments about how “difficult” my case was, and seemed annoyed by my lip piercing—something that had never been raised as an issue beforehand. When I expressed discomfort, I wasn’t met with empathy, but with passive-aggressive remarks that made me feel like I was being difficult. It was hard not to feel like his irritation was triggered by the fact that I didn’t follow his recommendation—even if that wasn’t the case. What disappointed me most, however, was the clinic’s official response. Before receiving the written reply, I had already met with the director in person. During that meeting, he repeatedly emphasized the surgeon’s impressive skills and experience. I told him directly: I understood this was a difficult procedure, and I sincerely appreciated the doctor’s ability to complete it successfully. I’m recovering well, and I acknowledged that. But I also made it clear that what I experienced emotionally—the sense of pressure, the discomfort, the lack of empathy—was just as real. The director told me my feelings would not be invalidated. He promised that part of my experience would be taken seriously. That’s why the official written response was so disappointing. Instead of building on that honest, face-to-face conversation, the letter once again focused almost entirely on defending the technical aspects of the case. There was little to no real acknowledgment of the emotional impact of what I went through. It felt like being told, again, “Well, your tooth is out and you’re healing—so what more do you want?” Yes, the surgery was technically successful—but what’s the point of having such a high level of skill if the patient leaves feeling unheard and unseen? I’m writing this not out of resentment, but because I believe patients deserve both clinical expertise and human decency. Medical care is not only about outcomes—it’s about how people are treated along the way. And when a patient expresses concern, that experience deserves more than just a technical defense.
