Regarding occlusion, in invisible orthodontics, the end of aligner use and the beginning of the retention phase with retainers does not signify the end of the orthodontic process, but rather the start of a stabilization phase that requires clinical follow-up and adjustments. Occlusal adaptation is progressive and depends on multiple individual factors. It is essential that patients attend their follow-up appointments to assess this progress; otherwise, we cannot guarantee an optimal result. We remain available for a follow-up appointment at our clinic. 2- We regret that you felt the information provided was insufficient. As a healthcare center, we assume it is the clinic's responsibility to clearly and understandably explain the risks, limitations, and conditions of each treatment. In adult patients with pre-existing gingival recession, tooth movement should be limited and conservative, always prioritizing gum health. This circumstance is always assessed beforehand, and the patient is informed before starting orthodontic treatment. If necessary, connective tissue grafts may be recommended after orthodontic treatment to address existing gingival recession. 3- Inter-adjacent polishing (IPR) is a common, minimally invasive orthodontic technique clinically indicated in certain cases of crowding, especially in aligner treatments for adult patients and in cases of existing recession. This procedure is performed in a controlled manner, respecting the enamel, with the aim of creating the necessary space for proper alignment, thus avoiding more invasive treatments. IPR is always indicated according to clinical criteria and is part of the previously agreed-upon treatment plan. 4- The removal of attachments and adhesive cement is carried out following standardized clinical protocols, using tungsten burs specifically designed for the removal of adhesive cement without affecting the tooth enamel. It is normal for the patient to perceive changes in the surface texture of the teeth. It is important to note that old fillings, not being made of natural enamel, can be affected by this type of instrument, which could also explain the described perception, without implying any damage to the tooth enamel. Follow-up visits allow for these types of adjustments or polishing of old restorations to optimize aesthetics and functionality. These visits are offered as part of the post-orthodontic treatment care. If an old filling falls out, we always replace it free of charge. 5- At the clinic, we work under a holistic and integrative approach to dentistry, understood as a form of care that values ​​oral health within the overall context of the person, always prioritizing harmony, functionality, safety, and long-term well-being. This approach doesn't involve standardized decisions, but rather individualized assessments that analyze various clinical and functional factors before recommending any treatment.
