This place has an agressive dog that the owner of the clinic leaves out to bark an try to attack people that pass by and the customers. Although being told several times that the dog is barking and disturbing the neighbourhood; the clinic owner, who is also the owner of the dog, does not care at all. That tells you alot about what kind of person he is. Don't support a person like that.

De Jorge Armenta is the best!! We’ve been seeing Dr Jorge for almost a decade and we are very pleased with his work. He’s very good at what he does and has always gone above and beyond to make sure we got the best care, from cleanings, to root canals, and the quality of the crowns he uses are great! I highly recommend Dr Jorge Armenta and his practice to all my family and friends.

100% recommended. My partner and I came while we were on vacation. He only speaks English, but the doctors are bilingual, so it wasn't a problem. He had a root canal and a cleaning. The staff is very friendly, they explain things very well, and they were very patient with us. We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this dental clinic. It is the best in quality, customer service, and prices! They make you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Doctors and the staff are completely bilingual, English and Spanish. Dr. Jorge Armenta took care of me and my two children. He is a dental surgeon with many years of successful practice. My two children and I had impeccable cleanups and check-ups, completely painless. Also, I had a dental crown. Dr. Jorge was very accommodating, efficient, professional, and fast in getting my crown done in 4 days. I saw a lot of foreign families like us coming to have dental service in this clinic while enjoying vacations in Playa del Carmen and Cancun. All of them highly recommended this clinic. And now I also gave them 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

After my initial consultation with Dr. Jorge, I had high hopes for cultivating a longterm doctor-patient relationship. Instead I was ghosted. I visited the doctor two weeks ago, where I got panoramic x-rays done on his instructions. After we reviewed the images, Dr Jorge determined that I would need 3 procedures and advised that we combine 2 into the same visit. Following consultations with other clinics, I decided that Dr Jorge’s practice represented the best value, so I emailed him asking when we could schedule the first of my deep cleanings. No response. Ok, maybe my request ended up in his spam folder. I proceeded to email his office twice more in separate email threads. Crickets. While I respect that any doctor has a right to refuse services, whether due to scheduling conflicts or something trivial—maybe he disliked the color of my shirt that day—I don’t think it’s too much to ask that they show professional courtesy by letting me know that they can’t/won’t take on a new patient. Honestly have never experienced this with any other medical provider, in Mexico or the US.

My girlfriend and I both got a cleaning done by Dr. Cesar Casas and definitely recommend booking here! He was incredibly friendly, thorough, professional, and spoke great English (which made things easier for us, obviously). We shopped around a bit for prices beforehand and found that the prices here were a fantastic deal, too, so there really are not any compromises. Super easy recommendation!

What a fantastic dentist. Dr. Jorge Armenta was willing to accommodate my schedule as I was getting close to leaving for Canada. His technique is second to none. I have never encountered a dentist who could give painless needles, until I met him. I had broken a tooth and had to have 2 crowns. I had a root canal done by one of his colleagues. He doesn’t recommend dental work unless it’s really necessary. Whatever your dental needs are he has a wealth of talented colleagues available to help. He was very attentive and laid back. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. His prices were fair. The office was very clean and the staff were very helpful.

Hey Everyone! I’ve been a patient at Playa Dentist for the past 6 years. My wife and I visit Playa del Carmen every year in December. The first year I replaced one older porcelain crown with a much better zirconium crown - the dentist at Playa Dentist was very skilled! Once I got the first one replaced, I just kept coming back every year - now I have no more metal in my mouth!! In fact, this year my wife is also starting to replace all of her old crowns with new zirconium crowns. The cost of this work back in the states would’ve been cost prohibitive, so we’re both happy we can enjoy beautiful Playa del Carmen and get our dentistry done at the same time with quality and affordable prices!
