I had a terrible experience at Odonto Dent Copacabana. I was lured in by the promise of immediate service for a filling, provided I signed an 18-month plan. I signed the contract the same day, but soon after the clinic: • Said they would only do a cleaning (which I hadn't requested); • After the cleaning, they confirmed that I really needed the filling, but that it could only be done in 15 days; •…

When I requested to cancel the contract, I was surprised by the demand for R$ 250.00 to leave, an abusive and unfounded amount. This constitutes a breach of contract (Consumer Protection Code, articles 30 and 35), abusive charges (Consumer Protection Code, article 39, V) and a null clause due to excessive disadvantage (Consumer Protection Code, article 51, IV). I felt cheated and disrespected. The clinic does not fulfill its promises, creates obstacles and even tries to impose undue charges. I do not recommend it to anyone!
