All staff very nicely, any time you have questions they answer quickly. We came from USA and price in this clinic satisfies. New Smile Dental Group meets you at the airport, picks you up at your hotel for each appointment and returns you to the airport. The main reason to come here is that they are true to their guarantee. There was never a question that if anything is not perfect, or additional work was needed, that they would take care of it...even years later. Mario, Jackie, Edgar and the whole staff take wonderful care of you at a very reasonable price. My husband and I have had all of our dental work done here for about 15 years and have saved thousands over what it would have cost in the USA...even with flights and hotel. I highly recommend them!

3 years ago I had my entire mouth redone with new Smile Dental they took care of me from the first call to schedule to my last drive to the San Jose Airport. Wonderful staff that wants to keep good healthy teeth intact and wants to provide workable usable and effective solutions to its clients. I saved more money than I ever thought possible. The work was top notch and even my dentist back in the States was very impressed and happy with the treatment plan. I recommend this place to anybody in the United States or the world for that matter, that needs dental work done whether it's fillings root canals crowns or veneers, implants or impressions these guys and gals will take care of you. You will leave happy and impressed. I returned 3 years later to have a cleaning and a repair done which they took care of at no cost to me and were able to see me and take care of it quickly with the same level of care as my first visit.

I am amazed to see people going to this dentist. I spent thousands of dollars to have implants and I have learned that was the worst dental work that could be done. They really do not care about Americans and with a smile...they do the worst job that you could imagine! How about having to pay to go back (hotel include with air fare not included on the third trip back to Costa Rica!) to correct shotty work three times...HORRIBLE dental work done by this office. The dental assistants just through some cement in my mouth and the Dr. said, "Your tongue will SMOOTH the cement after time!!!" He should lose his license because he is sub-standard. I have spoken to two other of his patients, and they are both having problems with the dental work!!! BEWARE do not go to this clinic! Since they thought that I did not speak Spanish, the dental hygienists thought that it was a joke on the care they were giving me! Like YOU WILL BE SORRY THAT YOU WENT TO THIS DR! The 5 stars must have been for minor dental work! Because my implants lasted a year and a half....a rip off!!!! ASK for a copy of your x-rays...if you can get them!!!

I did a lot of research before I came to this clinic. My Experience I was picked up from my hotel at the time agreed. Arrived at the Dental office, no time wasting like in US. 3D xrays done as sson as I arrived at the clinic, in the next 15 minutes I was in the Dentist's chair. He explained xrays and recommenced a treatment plan. His admin quickly printed the costs. I could not believe that it was less than a third of US dentist. I was amazed at how clean the office was and the state of the art equipment compared to US clinic. I decided to go ahead with treatment. Two implant done and impression done in less than 1 hour. A painless effort told me that he must done a lot of implants. Everyone at the clinic is so professional and polite. Seeing all this my friends who had accompanied me to Costa Rica for a holiday also decided to get full mount makeover treatments. All said I would highly recommend this clinic. I will be back in Sept for the crowns. I

Not recommended. They left the work undone, and won't return phone calls to set an appointment to finish. They left crowns unpolished/rough and left a blob of adhesive on one crown. I will need to pay another dentist to finish their work. Professionalism: 0/5 Dentistry: 1/5 Price: 3/5 Responsiveness: 1/5 Salesmanship: 5/5 Update: 1. The dentist's response to my initial review is just gaslighting. The office was open each time I called. They just chose to never respond, except to respond to a bad review. 2. I had to pay another dentist to polish the crowns. That dentist asked why the original dentist didn't finish the work. Then I told them who the original dentist was, and they understood. 3. Now the implant crown has broken off and will need to be redone at great expense. 4. Rating reduced from 2 to 1. This place is a nightmare.
