Yes, Mr. Smile is on the pricier side compared to other clinics in Serbia or the Balkans, but please take my advice: do not try to save money on your health. Seven years ago, I went to a different dentist to save money. I paid around €6k, but the doctor lacked the expertise to calculate how the crowns would affect my bone structure. The crowns pushed against my bone, causing my gums to become sick, red, and chronically irritated. I ended up paying way more the second time around to fix the damage caused by "saving money" the first time. *Quality materials and elite expertise cost money, and they are worth every penny. Do not try to save money by putting yourself in the hands of someone without the adequate knowledge for complex esthetic procedures.* *The Journey to Healing* When I first arrived at Mr. Smile, I was terrified. "I made it clear from the outset that while esthetic results were important to me, establishing a healthy periodontal foundation was a non-negotiable prerequisite for proceeding with any restorative work." To my positive surprise, they shared my opinion entirely. They refused to rush the esthetics until the foundation was healthy. My process lasted 7 months because they performed several surgeries to fix the previous damage and build a good base. Seeing my gums finally heal after a couple of months made me the happiest person alive. Office managers Ana and Katarina are very kind, helpful and professional and always happy to accommodate any special requests. I’m especially impressed by the lovely and talented dental technicians Anastasia and Andjela and dental assistant Elma. These young ladies are truly special and deserve a special recognition. Since I live in New York City and have plenty of experience with dentists here, I’m fairly confident in placing Mr. Smile Dental on a higher level when it comes to quality of dental work.
