My attending dentist was Dr. Lim. While I haven't had extensive dental work in the past to compare against, I can definitely say that Dr. Lim and LnL Dental Clinic are excellent for a number of reasons: Punctuality: My appointment started within +/- 5 minutes of the scheduled time. ic feels very modern with advanced imaging equipment that I haven't even seen in some Singapore clinics or polyclinics. Thorough & Patient: Dr. Lim never rushed. I had 4 fillings, scaling & polishing, and an upper molar extraction. She took the time to explain every step clearly and sounded very confident. Diagnostic Skill: She used imaging to detect 3 additional decay sites that my previous dentist missed. She showed me the proof on the screen, so I knew it was necessary. Transparency: She provided clear cost estimates for every procedure immediately. It’s clear she is experienced enough to know the price ranges by heart. Quality of Work: My molar filling was done perfectly. The bite felt normal almost immediately (she only needed to adjust it twice), whereas other dentists usually have to file it down many times. Proficient Support Staff: The dental nurses were excellent. They were proactive, anticipating exactly when I needed suctioning without me or Dr Lim asking. During the extraction, they were gentle and held my head to provide support and stability, which I really appreciated. Gentle Extraction: The upper molar extraction was done as gently as possible. It required some maneuvering because upper molars have deep, divergent roots, but she handled it skillfully. Pain Management: The anesthetic injections were as painless as they could possibly be—thank goodness! Cost & Verdict: I can't speak for the local market rates, but compared to Singapore prices, this was much more affordable. The level of competence is on par, if not better, than what I have experienced in SG. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lim if you need a skilled and patient dentist in JB.
Normally seeing a dentist can be an uncomfortable experience for some but the feeling that I had was of pleasantness. The doctors there were very friendly and professional. They even explained throughly the procedure and cost so that I can make my decision without any uncertainty. Overall a very good dental clinic.
