I was informed by a new doctor that for some people it never fully goes away and lips never fully return to normal shape. 2- HA enzyme can destroy the natural tissue of the lip. If with age your natural hyaluronic decreases, in some cases the removal process permanently changes the shape of the lip and causes it to be smaller more wrinkly than when you started. 3- Migration where the filler moves into other areas of the mouth can occur. 4- Blood vessel blockages can prevent oxygen reaching lips and cause whitening/blue of the lips and severe infections/pain. 5- the cupid bow above your lip can widen and significantly age you and make you look worse. She completely messed up the proportions of the filler, not only did the cupids bow I love of my natural lips change, but she did such a poor job at even distribution, causing lumpiness and unevenness that remains even months later. PLEASE SEE A REAL PROFESSIONAL who is honest about the risks, who does not lie to you and who has the integrity to sincerely take responsibility for the mistakes they make, not just gas light you and pretend that everything is fine!! Save yourself the mental and emotional trauma.
