I've been using dental care for years. Dr. Agnieszka even treated my teeth during my pregnancies, all in a safe, empathetic atmosphere. In the meantime, I also had a root canal under a microscope (Dr. Kasia is the most wonderful endodontist and specialist I've ever met). I also had braces and dental implants placed at the clinic. I came to La Vie Dent for gingivitis, likely caused by tartar. The visit included an initial assessment of the problem, a gum rinse, and medication application. Imagine my surprise when the bill came to 390 PLN. Yes, 390 PLN for a gum rinse and the medication placed between the tooth and gum! lists a cost of 150-220 PLN. To clarify the amount paid, I contacted the office because I was scheduled for a medication replication the following day. I had hoped this amount would cover two visits in advance, but unfortunately, it turned out that the second visit would cost another 390 PLN! Almost 800 PLN for two subgingival applications! I feel like I've been ripped off, firstly because it doesn't match the price list, and secondly because in most offices in Warsaw the cost of such a visit is a maximum of PLN 200.

Ms. Anna, You came to us with pain – acute suppuration following tooth 8 extraction at another clinic, diffuse inflammation in the pocket next to tooth 7, and a pocket next to tooth 6. You were prescribed three medications for three painful inflammations – not just one, as you described – each costing 150 PLN. You received an additional discount due to the extent of the condition... Each tooth has one gingival pocket, and the price list, as I explained to you over the phone, specifically states "gingival pocket irrigation with medication application," which applies to each tooth individually. You received treatment that resulted in improvement, and recommendations for tooth cleaning after the acute condition subsided to see if there would be any long-term improvement in your oral health.
