incredibly painful..we went back to the doctor and I saw this female doctor run away and was immediately replaced by a male doctor..very irresponsible..they didn't even give her any painkillers..in the end we bought Cataflam ourselves because my wife couldn't stand the pain..

This experience does not reflect the quality standards our clinic strives to provide. We are committed to improving and ensuring that situations like this do not recur in the future. Permission to clarify this incident, based on a referral letter from a doctor in Padang, was given a diagnosis of reversible pulpitis and a temporary filling consisting of eugenol and a cavity. According to the patient's explanation, the cavity had not yet reached the tooth nerve and only needed to be replaced with a permanent filling. In accordance with the patient's explanation, the doctor removed the temporary filling using a scaler (which cannot erode or drill the tooth surface). Midway through the procedure, the patient complained of pain (the temporary filling was still in the cavity). Therefore, an X-ray was performed, which revealed that the cavity had reached the tooth nerve. Therefore, the initial diagnosis was changed from reversible pulpitis to irreversible pulpitis. The patient's condition was explained to the patient, and the patient decided to have a temporary filling first. The patient came in the afternoon due to pain after a filling and was treated by Dr. Darius, Sp.Perio due to a change in the clinic's afternoon shift. Based on the examination and discussion, the best way to relieve the pain was to perform a root canal treatment/treat the infected nerve of the tooth. However, for one or two reasons, the patient refused to undergo root canal treatment on the tooth. Although Dr. Darius had explained that the reason for the pain after the temporary filling was none other than the infected nerve. The patient then decided to have it observed and hoped the toothache would go away on its own. It had been explained repeatedly that the pain would disappear only with root canal treatment, but the patient refused to have the root canal treatment.
