However, shortly afterward, during a discussion about costs, I was advised to get crowns instead of veneers, as they were cheaper – even though healthy teeth would also have to be ground down. This was precisely the argument that had previously been given against a bridge. I also felt that they didn't really understand that I specifically didn't want crowns because they often look very unnatural to me. My teeth don't have any major functional problems; my desire for veneers was purely aesthetic. I also found the consultation itself to be rather superficial. The dentist briefly examined my teeth, drew up a treatment plan, and then I was expected to agree to the costs immediately. I didn't receive a clear explanation of what exactly was going to be done to each tooth and why. For a treatment that was supposed to cost over €13,000 without any discounts, I would have expected significantly more information and time. On top of that, I had a lot of organizational hassle on-site: waiting, multiple trips back and forth, and unexpected costs. Flights, rebookings, and transfers cost me several hundred euros, even though no treatment ultimately took place. I also had to pay for the hotel and transfers on-site and couldn't simply transfer them. I found the €100 transfer fee particularly irritating. The airport is about 40 minutes away, and I was only driven back and forth twice. I still don't understand how this price was calculated. Many influencers report feeling very well cared for there. Unfortunately, I didn't have that feeling at all! In the end, I flew home without any treatment, but with high costs and a lot of frustration. Based on my personal experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this practice.

I was literally demolished by so called “ best and most qualified American specialists “…who are indeed nothing more than careless charlatans, and have no knowledge , understanding or simple respect for the human anatomy. For 5 long years of sadistic torture , unnecessary over-destructive surgeries, leading to the irreversible damage, emotional distress and enormous spending… I ended up in a form of gender-less freak, who lost its human look, along with basic abilities and functions. My facial structure has been literally gutted due to dental mess and negligence I’ve been having in the US. Yet Dr. Irfan's skill made what seemed impossible a reality. He’d restored the damage EFFORTLESSLY in less than two weeks giving me my life and self confidence back!!! Doctor Irfan in my humble opinion is the rising star of modern dentistry with a big professional future ahead. The Istadental Clinic must be very proud to have the Best Chef Physician in the World. He is not just an amazing DOCTOR , but also a wonderful, kind, sincere and genuine human being! For the remarkable job he did for me , 5 stars is not nearly enough to evaluate his work. Dr Irfan deserves all the stars ✨ from the skies! It was a long journey from Washington to Istanbul, but it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The dental care in the U.S. is tremendously down and has nothing to do with health care anymore. It’s money collecting industry with no honesty or integrity , but unnecessary distraction, pain , deformation and lack of completion. The contrasts in care , technology, professional approach , respect for the patients life quality are staggering, and the results speak for themselves. so visited their two partner clinics in Frankfurt and Hanover for preliminary examinations. I had previously had six crowns done in Germany, which I never experienced any problems with. After months of contact with a representative from Istadental, I was persuaded to have the treatment done in Istanbul. In retrospect, I unfortunately trusted this person. Today, I question how one can morally justify guiding people toward such decisions when one knows that many subsequently develop serious problems. That is my personal impression. Despite having been quoted a price in Frankfurt beforehand, I was recommended an even more expensive material at the clinic. Only after my teeth had already been irrevocably ground down was I told that several root canals would be necessary, otherwise my warranty would be void. In that situation, I effectively had no choice. After the grinding, I was in severe pain, could barely eat, and couldn't tolerate any medication. I felt like I was living a nightmare, one I desperately wanted to wake up from. After the crowns were fitted, the real horror began: I suffered from severe pain for months, had to take painkillers constantly, and developed stomach problems. Several crowns fell out, some after only a short time. At every appointment, there was a new explanation for my pain. I was repeatedly told that my bite needed adjusting. They ground down my teeth multiple times, each time hoping that "it will be better now." Sometimes it helped briefly, but then the pain returned. Every time another crown fell out, I had to request an appointment via WhatsApp. Sometimes I waited weeks for a response or an appointment. During this time, I walked around in pain and could barely eat. I found communication with customer service during this phase to be very difficult and lacking in empathy. In addition, appointments were sometimes only communicated to me at very short notice, sometimes just a few hours beforehand. With a commute of several hours, it was realistically impossible for me to attend such appointments. When I then had to cancel these appointments, I was essentially told that I should expect long waiting times again because I had missed the suggested appointment. I found this situation extremely stressful and unfair, as I had virtually no realistic way to get timely help. At the same time, I was told that I couldn't go to my local dentist, as this would void the warranty. Instead, I had to travel to Frankfurt again and again, once more facing long waiting times. During this period, I felt completely abandoned on several occasions and practically had to beg for help. I know that I'm not the only one who has experienced this. I met other patients at the clinic who reported very similar problems. I know some might find this review naive. Believe me, I blame myself every single day. I trusted reviews, online profiles, and unfortunately, influencers. I can only speak from my own experience. I'm writing this review for people who aren't influencers or special cases, but ordinary patients. Please think this decision through very carefully. Tooth structure never grows back, and I wouldn't wish such pain, stress, and limitations on anyone 😢
