Good morning. My experience was not satisfactory, as I requested an evaluation, which was done, and they requested an x-ray. Then, when it came time for the procedure, they said my insurance covered the crown, but the clinic doesn't make them. This is very disappointing. If they had informed me beforehand, I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Good afternoon, Rosely. We reviewed your medical records to understand how your appointments were handled due to your dissatisfaction, as we always prioritize quality and efficiency in our services. This year you visited our clinic twice. The first time, a cleaning was performed and radiographic exams were requested. On your return visit, the exams were analyzed. Your plan coverage is for a metal crown, which we no longer perform through the plan or privately. Even if we did, it's a procedure that requires prior approval via X-ray, which takes several days. Therefore, it wouldn't have been possible to start at your last appointment. We requested the X-ray and analyzed it to determine the indication and why it's a requirement of your plan for authorization. Therefore, there was no loss of appointments, and you can use the X-ray taken at any other accredited clinic so you don't have to go through this screening and X-ray request process again. Just let us know you already have the radiograph and send it; you can request the exam at the place where it was performed. We are available for any further questions.

The scheduling was confusing. They rescheduled several times. I arrived at the clinic and they hadn't requested authorization from the health insurance company. I waited for almost 2 hours and left without having the tests done. I had to return today.
For the first time in over a year, I am completely satisfied with the service provided. The pediatric dentist, Dr. Natalia Lopes Castilho, was delightful with my daughter, met all the patient's needs, and was meticulous in her attention to detail.
