I experienced cavities and tooth pain during CNY Eve, and thankfully I managed to visit Icon Dental Kepong just in time. I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Lim and Dr. Lo for their patience in explaining my dental condition and the steps needed to treat it. After this experience, I have definitely learned my lesson. I won’t be skipping my annual dental check-ups anymore.

Bad experience here, I went for a wisdom tooth extraction, the dr who did it didn't seem very confident, the surgery was long and caused some pain. But it is to be expected with wisdom tooth extraction. Unfortunately the wound was not cleaned up properly and sewed up correctly, it became infected and opened up. stitched up a second time. Then less than a week later the wound was open again, so I had to return for a third time to get the stitches removed and re done. Now after 3 months I am having further complications, a fragment of tooth that was not removed is now sticking out from my gums and causing pain. after all of this time I have to go somewhere again for another surgery. All because the first surgery was done poorly. Very disappointed, I have always had a fear of the dentist and instead of making me feel reassured I now leave with a bigger fear of the dentist and more surgeries to come. You cant believe all the good reviews. such a shame. I give two stars because they were willing to correct their mistake the other times I returned FOC.

Dear Jordan, We are truly sorry to hear from your bad experience and totally understand your frustration. Your new xray have showned that the teeth were completely removed and no tooth fragment was left behind. It is a very tiny part of bone fragment that failed to heal well, and it can be easily fixed here. A study published by Guido R Sigron in 2014 showed that the prevalence of occurrence of bony spicules after tooth extraction is 0.32%. We feel very sorry that it happened to you. Post tooth removal infection is a possible complication in case of chronic infected decayed teeth. There will be shrinkage of gum on early stage of healing, and occasionally cause the need of changing wound dressing like you have experienced,to help in the wound healing. Esspecially on a bigger wound as you have taken out 2 molars. Our doctors deal with multiple wisdom teeth cases here in daily basis, hence we like to assure you that your post teeth removal infection is an exceptional case. We will surely be more careful next time in delivering a better service to you and our patients.
