l and beautiful that even when I went to a government clinic later on, the dentist there complimented how well the work was done! I truly appreciate how gentle and encouraging the dentist was throughout the whole process, always making sure I was comfortable. It didn’t feel scary, and it wasn’t painful either. I’m really thankful and would definitely recommend Hygge Dental to anyone looking for quality and caring dental treatment.

Detailed explanation and advise given by doctor and price is affordable as well. I walked in during public holiday but surprisingly there is empty slot for my dental treatment. Very pleasant experience.

y loose, as parents we decided to proceed without an injection. However, the dentist kept repeating that it would be painful. If the dentist were truly experienced with children, they would have handled the situation swiftly and calmly instead of dragging things out and scaring the child further. The dentist showed signs of impatience and seemed completely inexperienced in dealing with kids. We brought our child to your clinic with the best intentions. If you were not comfortable treating children, you could have just told us, rather than criticizing us as parents. The dentist even said things like, “Even if the tooth is extracted, it won’t grow out straight — otherwise, why would people need braces?” On top of that, the dentist did not maintain proper hygiene while treating patients — not even wearing a surgical scrub cap. We will definitely not be returning to this clinic after such a disappointing experience.

Hi HL Chan, It is to be noted that our practice strive towards painless dentistry : Clear verbal consent for tooth extraction require patient/guardian to understand the procedure, benefits and alternatives. Since the guardian refuses to consent to proper localized anaesthesia for the tooth extraction and instead opt for topical anaesthesia, we are obliged to informed regarding the possible outcome of dental phobia created by painful extractions. In the topic of extractions we are obliged to inform the guardian regarding their perception of paediatric extractions.We usually encourage normal exfoliation for the paediatric tooth(milk tooth) when the baby tooth is Not over retained as extracting milk teeth doesnt necessarily guarantee adult teeth would grow straight, there are other factors like genetic,timing of loss,jaw growth or habits.Overtreatment on the other hand would actually create more harm/phobia for the patients/paeds. We regret that our belief in cautiously and careful handling of paediatric patients fall short of your expectation. We would appreciate it if you could contact our practice if we could further address your concerns.

Fast respond from the receptionist on WhatsApp appointment. Dr Lee is very professional, detail explanation on tooth condition, treatment plan, provide advise on oral care.
