Given that my son completed the first phase at another clinic in Marbella, I had the second phase done with Dr. Shirin Ghazaei. My son is much happier because the conditions are very different and the work was easier. I will definitely recommend this orthodontist to my friends. I am very grateful to her.

r experience was very negative. Nine days after visiting this clinic, my son developed an infection. This can sometimes be unavoidable, but I want to highlight certain practices that point to malpractice and even medical negligence: 1. We noticed how the polisher contaminated the pulp of the tooth and caused it to bleed. It has a camera where you can see what it's doing, and I clearly saw how he applied pressure with the device to the pulp, which caused it to bleed. He explained that the bleeding was because the cavity was so deep, as if I were blind and couldn't see that he was applying pressure with the tooth polisher to the pulp. But given my ignorance—I'm not a dentist—and a certain amount of shock, I trusted that the doctor knew what he was doing. My son told me later that I had hurt him terribly because he felt pain he'd never felt before. He's a cooperative child, very strong and calm, and he held on until the end. He told me he never wanted to go back to this place. 2. He didn't apply any dressing when closing the filling. When a lesion is so close to the pulp, it's always sealed with medication to protect the pulp from future infection. Something he didn't do, and this is confirmed by the dentists who later removed the filling he had made in order to help my son. 3. He boasted that he had already "operated" on other children in the same situation as my son who might need a pulpectomy. When he refers to surgery, he means doing the same thing but with the patient under general anesthesia. This is only recommended when the patient has some type of trauma, is uncooperative, or has many injuries. In no case is it ours. Some doctors tend to try to sell this type of procedure, thinking more of their own pocketbook and comfort than the patient's well-being. I don't know if this is what he was looking for, but we weren't asking about an "operation" to change a filling. Something he boasted about and even hinted he could do to my son. Unfortunately, he has this tooth and another one that we have to check frequently, which isn't disproportionate to suggest general anesthesia when the patient is perfectly cooperative. I've written this review to prevent the same thing from happening to others and to report the medical malpractice we sometimes have to endure. My son is now taking antibiotics, and when he recovers from the infection, he'll probably have a lungectomy. Of course, without general anesthesia, which isn't necessary when the dentist is good and the patient is cooperative. I'm grateful that there are doctors who care about the patient's well-being, not just their own pockets. We're considering taking legal action against them.

However, we would like to clarify that the observations and accusations described in your review are inaccurate and do not accurately describe the treatment performed. Before the treatment, the condition of the decayed tooth was explained to you in detail and shown to you. After the treatment, the result was documented photographically. Everyone present, including you, was very impressed and satisfied with the outcome. There were no complaints throughout the entire treatment, and the farewell was cordial and friendly. Regarding your assertion that we are only interested in money, I want to categorically emphasize that this is not true. The only recommendation I made was to consider applying fissure sealants to your child's permanent teeth for long-term protection. I also advised you, especially as a mother, to research this option thoroughly and think carefully before making a decision. We never discussed financial matters, and it was never our intention to offer you unnecessary or scientifically questionable treatment. Your claim that during the treatment I “worked close to the pulp (tooth nerve)” or that the filling procedure was not performed correctly is highly questionable. As someone who was not directly involved in the procedure and was not present, it is difficult to understand how you could have made such an observation or judgment. No live recordings or progress notes were shown during the treatment that would allow for such an assessment. Furthermore, this review contains numerous technical dental terms, giving the impression that it may have been written by someone with dental expertise, such as a dentist. This raises the question of why and with what intention this review was written in this manner. Finally, I want to emphasize that the highest professional standards were met throughout the entire treatment. If misunderstandings persist, I cordially invite you to a personal meeting to clarify them. If this review remains published, I will be forced to consider legal action, as there is a suspicion of potential damage to my reputation. Transparency and fairness toward my practice and my patients are of utmost importance to me.
After my first filling I told my husband that he's not a dentist he's a tooth artist. So fast and professional, and the results are so good

Best dentist on the Costa del Sol. I was in pain for two days and saw three dentists before I was lucky enough to find Dr. Bayat. I had a root canal and didn't even feel the anesthetic. The price was also excellent. Thank you again for your efforts. I highly recommend him!
