Edit: dear Family dent, the fact that I don't appear under my own name does not change the approach I received from you and believe me, I've experienced something with dentists, I know what a professional looks like because I've been visiting Dr. Prokopovic Sr. for a long time. But I have never had a dentist tell me that all previous fillings and fillings were done wrong (even those that are over 10 years old and there is no problem with them), I understand that it is best to find the problem on the patient's side and explain yourself in the sense that another doctor may have a different opinion, but this is not the case, your doctor is far from professional, he is just trying to make money from people who clearly know nothing about it, which is neither professional nor moral. When I look at other reviews, I see that I am not alone with a similar experience. Fortunately, I managed to find a doctor who does not see the patient as a walking wallet, but as a patient who, when he has a problem, needs to be helped without lying to him and depriving him of the largest possible amount of money. Hello. At our clinic, at every initial examination, a current X-ray image is taken and a treatment plan is developed, based on which the doctor identifies the teeth that need treatment. The fact that another dentist evaluates the situation so that the teeth do not need to be treated is his responsibility for your health. All of our treating doctors try to propose the most reasonable and quick solution to any "defects" before they become a bigger problem. Hello, 3 of my 3 crowns didn't even last 4 years. 1. They broke off and had to be refinished, 2. They had to be replaced because they weren't made well and were causing me problems (3 dentists confirmed that the crown was made incorrectly), 3. They also don't fit properly. I paid quite a lot of money and they didn't even last 4 years.

After a consultation at a regular dental hygienist, I agreed on a date and exact time for the treatment of possible interdental caries. I would like to point out that the agreement was - for one visit, they would take an X-ray and seal the tooth. me that if I waited 20 minutes, "Mr. Dentist" would take me in and treat my tooth. I waited for 1:15, when "Mr. Dentist", who knew about me, went for a cigarette and then admitted me. He took an X-ray and told me in broken Slovak that he would treat my tooth, only if he also cleaned my root canal, of course he had to inject it with anesthesia. After I protested that my tooth did not hurt and the X-ray showed that it was only a small cavity, he said that he would not treat my tooth without cleaning the canal. He chose the tactic of scaring the patient and threw out a price of €600!!! After I asked if he was crazy, I left the clinic. I visited another top-equipped clinic, and after an initial examination, 2 different X-rays, including a preventive examination and consultation, the dentist literally treated my small cavity without anesthesia. Even with the initial questionnaire, my visit lasted 40 minutes and cost €98. I strongly do not recommend Family Dent and I have also already arranged dental hygiene in a new clinic, where they approach patients in a humane and realistic way.

Today, surgical extraction of wisdom teeth. Incredibly kind staff, from entering the clinic to the procedure itself. No pain, during the entire procedure the doctor communicated with me, made sure that I was not in pain, every step of the way he told me so that I would not be surprised. Absolute shock. They asked for 704 € for the tooth treatment - regular endodontic treatment - cleaning of the canals + filling (and before the treatment they said 380 €) They purposefully divided everything into two visits so that they could charge twice for the same procedures (anesthesia, rubber dam, X-ray, etc.). Hello. You had 2 teeth treated at the clinic, teeth dN16 and tooth dN17. The treatment was done in two visits, and you spent a total of approximately 4 hours in the chair. You were informed in advance about the price of the procedures, as evidenced by the treatment plan developed by the doctor during your first visit. The price of €380 was the price listed for the treatment of one tooth (root filling, permanent filling). Every patient is informed in advance and such a treatment plan is developed for them already during the first visit. We are sorry that such a situation and experience caused dissatisfaction on your part, communication between you and the doctor probably failed.
