The Dr. Muñoz is an excellent doctor. Very profesional and manages a great practice. I can’t complain about the staff, but the receptionist folks fail to be clear, book you for what you called about, and do not commute procedures properly. Very modern. Very clean. Great Covid process. Dr Marco is a sweetheart. Very approachable. Answers all your questions. Dental rooms are glass so each patient can be observed for safety.
Visit dr Marco during pandemic and I was very surprise how much clinic care about customers safety.To get inside of the clinic you have to pass 3 steps, first,you have to wash your hands at the entrance ,second step you have to clean your shoes in special container with antiseptic, and last step check temperature. It was pleasant and safe trip.
I found this place about 15 years ago and have been going there ever since for my dental needs. Staff is very experienced and most of them have been there since I've been going. If you want to save about 50% on implants and dental service this is the place to go.
I've had compete upper and lower bridge/implants done by Dr Marco. I'm very satisfied. There cost was extremely reasonable and the work is guaranteed. I've gone back a couple times since the original work and repair was at no cost. I highly recommend Dr. Marco.
I have been going to Dr. Marco for several years. He really cares about his patients and so does his staff. He guarantees his work and until recently I have never had to go back but he fixed the problem and charged me nothing. He honors his guarantee something that is rare! I will continue to go to Dr. Marco and am happy I found him!
The Waiting Room lives up to its name :) but it is worth the wait. Wonderful Doctors and Staff.
Terrible place! My dad had a 8 months nightmare because of a bad procedure on this place. First, after consulting with other implant expert, we realized the tecnichs they use is kind of old (no longer require big screw for all implants). this was terrible, they were saying everything was fine while my dad was still in pain. We needed to visit another 3 dentist/implant experts and a couple of otorhinolaryngologist to get my dad estable again. I know this place is mostly focus on attending foreigners and seems that they don't care the same with local clients.
My wife and I love Dr Marco and his staff. If you need major dental work at a fraction of the price of prices in the US, this is your place. He also provides a lifetime warranty on his work. We love the in-house Hotel and Restaurant and everyone speaks great English. The Dental Facility is cleaner and Higher Tech than any US facility that I have ever been to. afraid to travel to Costa Rica. Costa Rican Dentists and Physicians are highly trained and will provide top notch treatment. Costa Rica is not a Third World Country, contrary to what so many people think. Dr Marco and his staff will not disappoint. Rebecca, Julian, Werner and Kattia go out of their way to assist you. Lucy at Sky Suites is the Best. Carlos will pick you up at the Airport and is always so nice. If you want to make Dr Marco and Julian happy, bring them a Classic Rock T Shirt from the US.

That said, I highly recommend staying in one of the conveniently attached hotels, as you can wait in your room until the clinic calls to let you know they are ready for you. It’s especially advantageous if you are having any surgery. If you do, remember to ice - it makes SO much difference! While all the hotel staff are nice, Lucy at Sky hotel is a great resource of things to do and is so helpful in arranging anything you may need., such as a restaurant delivery, massage, facial, pedicure, or IV treatment. After 3 visits I consider her a friend. The food at Sky Cafe is excellent. There’s a good selection and special menu items for surgical patients. The desserts are awesome! And it provides a place to chat with other patients if you want to. It’s nice to make friends while in Costa Rica. If you are up to it, dinner at the Country Club with the Dr and Sra Marco is a delight. I am so happy to be able to smile again. And it was so much more affordable than it would have been in the States. The cost of hotel, food and flights is easily justified by the savings. With my thanks to Dr Marco and Dra Hillary
I have been coming to Dr Cavallini’s dental office for 20 years. I have received root canals, implants, crowns and maintenance care. The staff is always warm and welcoming and they stand behind their work. If you have an issue they will get it resolved. I highly recommend them!

Rebecca at reception really worked hard & remained friendly & cheerful even though all day long and into the evening she’s dealing with loud-mouthed Americans with a bazillion questions. wonderful combination of reception & concierge. Friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable & hard working, she made our hotel stay a joy. Cleaning service at hotel kept our room spotless. The Sky Restaurant next door serves up delicious, reasonably priced meals with wonderful wait service. Dr. Munoz won my trust & appreciation at the very 1st consultation. He made me feel cared for and developed a treatment plan that worked for me. I won’t hesitate to recommend this practice to my friends & acquaintances back in Florida. The young doctor who fit my new crowns was wonderful & readily answered all my questions. I love this practice and can’t wait to return for the bottom crowns.
People are great, accommodations are comfortable and the work is great. They standby what they do.

thing is the scheduling can be tricky when your there because of emergencies sometimes from other patients but if your patient and want a great vacation while getting some dental work done I highly recommend this place.

I came years ago when the dental work I needed done was considerable and very expensive. Dr. Marco and his crew took very good care of me. Over the years, I could go to any dentist but I still travel to beautiful Costa Rica because all the folks at the clinic take very good care of me. ery nice hotels and a restaurant adjacent to the dental clinic. There are also additional stores and restaurants several blocks walking distance. If you need to get prescriptions there are many pharmacies in the area. Prescriptions in Costa Rica cost about ten percent lower of what the goodrx cash prices are in the U.S. You will fly to San Jose (SJO), Costa Rica. This dental facility can provide the hotel and provide transportation to/from the airport. The customary taxi tip is $10 per person but not required I saved thousands of dollars with the excellent service provided by Dr. Munos dental facility. Please note if you have emotional issues or you are seeking to be catered as if you are royalty this may not be the dental clinic for you. You must have patience and be flexible while you are waiting to be seen by the staff. Having patience will more than pay off in the end. I am extremely grateful to Dr Munos.
I needed one of my implant crowns replaced and was immediately booked an appointment within a couple weeks to fly down with Kattia getting me in. My worst experience…. I had two surgeries, but they never extracted the tooth root they were supposed to remove. Twenty years later, another doctor helped me and gave me a real solution.
