#Implantdentaireturquie I would like to share my experience to warn others about the treatment I received from Dr. Halil Nihat Kara I had 4 dental implants placed and zirconia crowns installed on all my teeth in 2024. After few months, I returned to Istanbul to have crowns placed on the 4 implants. However, within just six months, a bridge of 4 crowns supported by 2 implants cracked. I had to fly back to Turkey again, where the doctor removed the damaged crowns and placed an additional implant. Now I am being told that I will need to return again in six months. All this time I cannot smile, laugh, even speak due to absence of teeth. I live and work in the United States, and all travel expenses—including flights, airport transfers, hotel stays, and food—are paid out of my own pocket. In addition, I have to take unpaid time off work for each trip. When I raised concerns, the doctor simply said, “it happens.” Meanwhile, the crowns on my other teeth are now chipping as well. At this point, I am afraid to return. I have asked for a refund for the remaining 5 crowns so I can seek treatment from another dentist, as I no longer trust this doctor. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the assistant/translator told me to “think positively,” suggesting that otherwise I might bring even worse consequences upon myself. This is highly unprofessional. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to be cautious and think carefully before choosing this provider.

First of all, I want to mention that after several years of searching and making contacts, I was finally able to find Dr. Kara's practice, which answered all my questions and met all my requirements. The work is remarkable, the team is attentive, and the follow-up is professional. The results are immediate; the implants are original implants, and for any questions, you have Rassim, Dr. Kara, and his team available to reassure you through WhatsApp photos and phone calls. Honestly, an unforgettable experience... Dr. Kara's office is the ideal place to have your teeth redone and be created. Of course, you will find several offices that seem the same. But we always create a draft before the final product, and Dr. Kara's office is THE masterpiece. I searched for several years to be sure, and through my contacts, I found Dr. Kara and his team. Rassim is there to answer all your questions, and the follow-up is remarkable, both in person and remotely.

In January 2024, I went to this clinic and, frankly, I deeply regretted it! I had 15 zirconium dioxide crowns placed. On the first day, they ground down healthy teeth without pulpitis, then asked for a full prepayment. This request greatly confused me, and we agreed to pay part of the cost and the rest at the end of the service. Upon returning home three days later, the bridge on the right side broke. A couple of days later, aching pain began in the areas where the crowns were placed. Seven months have passed, and the pain in my teeth under the crowns still bothers me, along with numbness in my lower jaw. I do not recommend this clinic or Dr. Hali Kara; I got the impression that they were trying to make an easy buck by providing poor service.

I had six implants placed in France because my health insurance covered them. However, there was no reimbursement for the full prosthesis. So I got a quote in France for €6,800 and another in Turkey for €2,800. My husband had already been to Dr. Kara and was very satisfied, so I went to Turkey and I must say that I am delighted, both professionally and personally. A big thank you to the whole team.

I highly recommend Dr. Halil Nihat Kara if you're considering implants. The work is perfect, on par with dentists in France. The welcome is warm, and Rasim, the interpreter/coordinator, is fantastic; he took care of everything (hotel, transportation, etc.). As for the price, it's almost 50% cheaper than in France. Istanbul is a beautiful city, and you feel safe. You'll have time to explore the city and enjoy delicious food during your visit. :) A thousand thanks to Dr. Halil, Rasim, and the entire medical team!
