Badov. Thank you very much. We will visit you again if needed.
I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Tsvetomir Badov. From the first meeting it is clear that he is an orthodontist of a very high international level. Calm, precise and with real care for the patient. He explains clearly, without unnecessary haste or pressure, and puts the right treatment above profit, which is unfortunately rare in Bulgaria. I recommend him to anyone looking for quality, honesty…

About
What this clinic actually does.
Dr. Badov Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic practice operating in Plovdiv (ul. Filip Makedonski 72) and Sofia (Mladost 1 district), led by Dr. Tsvetomir Badov -- one of Bulgaria's most highly credentialled orthodontists. Dr. Badov completed a three-year postgraduate specialisation in orthodontics at Hadassah Medical University in Jerusalem, Israel, where he also defended a dissertation to earn the degree of Master of Science (MSc). He additionally holds a Bulgarian specialist orthodontic qualification. Most distinctively, he is the only Bulgarian orthodontist to have passed the specialist examination at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, United Kingdom -- a globally recognised benchmark of orthodontic expertise. After seven years of practice abroad, Dr. Badov returned to Bulgaria and opened his Plovdiv clinic in December 2019, followed by a Sofia location in early 2020.
Invisalign Clear AlignersInvisalign is one of the practice's most popular treatment options -- a series of custom-made, removable clear aligners that straighten teeth discreetly without traditional brackets or wires. Invisalign is suitable for a wide range of cases, from mild crowding and spacing to more complex bite corrections, and is particularly favoured by adult patients and professionals who prefer a low-profile orthodontic solution. As a trained Invisalign provider, Dr. Badov combines digital treatment planning with clinical expertise to deliver predictable, efficient outcomes.

For patients who prefer or require fixed appliances, Dr. Badov offers metal braces -- the tried-and-tested gold standard for comprehensive tooth movement -- and sapphire (ceramic) braces, which use translucent brackets for a far less visible appearance while delivering the same precision as metal systems. Removable orthodontic appliances are also available and are commonly used in paediatric cases and as part of early interceptive treatment plans to guide jaw and tooth development before full fixed treatment begins.
Paediatric and Adult OrthodonticsDr. Badov treats patients of all ages. Paediatric orthodontics focuses on early detection and intervention -- identifying developing bite and alignment problems in children and addressing them at the optimal stage of growth, often reducing the complexity of later treatment. Adult orthodontics is equally available, with Dr. Badov emphasising that straighter teeth benefit self-esteem and confidence at any age. Many adult patients opt for Invisalign or sapphire braces for discreet correction.
Why Dr. Badov Orthodontics for Dental Tourism?Orthodontic treatment in Bulgaria costs a fraction of equivalent treatment in the UK, Ireland, or Scandinavia, making Plovdiv an increasingly popular destination for patients seeking high-quality orthodontic care at accessible prices. Dr. Badov Orthodontics offers something genuinely rare in this market: a clinician with postgraduate training in Israel, a Master of Science degree, dual Bulgarian and international specialist recognition, and the distinction of passing the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh orthodontic examination -- the only Bulgarian to have done so. Patients travelling for Invisalign, sapphire braces, or complex orthodontic cases will find Dr. Badov's qualifications and international training highly reassuring, backed by a practice open Monday to Friday in a conveniently located Plovdiv clinic.
