From the beginning, the initial evaluation process with Dr. Cristina was arranged, communication was maintained regarding the case, and the digital surgical planning required for this type of orthognathic procedure was initiated with an external provider. This planning phase is essential in complex surgical cases because it allows the specialists to accurately determine the final scope of treatment. As was explained during the process, the initial amount provided was only an estimated range based on the clinical information available at that time. The final cost could only be confirmed once the digital planning and surgical analysis were completed, since these results determine the exact procedures and complexity involved. Wanting to help you organize in advance, we provided preliminary information before having the complete finalized planning. Our intention was always to offer guidance and support, never to create confusion or uncertainty. We sincerely regret that the communication did not feel clear or timely from your perspective, and we understand how frustrating and disappointing this situation must have been for both you and your son, especially considering the personal and academic arrangements that were made. Please know that our intention was never to neglect your case. We truly value every patient and family who places their trust in us. We remain fully available for direct communication with Dr. Cristina to review the case personally and clarify any remaining questions regarding the treatment process.
