Excellent accommodations and service from Carlos, the pick up from the airport, to the Azuan hotel staff as well and Angie and Dr. JULIO all amazing. Unfortunately I have to update my initial 5-Star review to 1-Star. I went to a dentist local for some light pain. The root canal done there in October 2023 is bad. I will now need to get the tooth pulled and get an implant.

We returned to Dr. Julio Oliver in Cartagena in September 2025 (last year I had porcelain veneers put in) for a second opinion about our American dentist recommendation to perform 4-6 root canals (surgery plus caps). (which cost around $200 USD) and removing the excessive amount of plaque our American dentist(s) missed, my gum health was immediately restored and the bleeding stopped. Dr Oliver and his assistants were friendly and professional, not to mention highly competent. Of course, the work was a fraction of the cost in the USA. One note - be sure to ask if a generic is available for your prescriptions as you might save some more $$$ vs name brand drugs.

Absolutely! I have zero regrets and wish I had done this years ago. There was no change to the white of my teeth. Feels like a waste of money. I have had my teeth whitened with Zoom before several times and ypu are able to see some change immediate. There was none. Waste of time and money.

Great place! I got three fillings done and I didn't feel like they ripped me off or tried to scam. They did the fillings same day but I did not ask about crowns. I am coming back for sure!
