very satisfied, and after almost thirteen years, the work done is still valid. Of course, you have to take into account a few trips back and forth to Rijeka (five in our case), but before starting, we establish the timeframe and dates, which is especially important for those who work. They also helped me find them, which was actually very easy as the office is located right across from the Flixbus stop and across from the apartment agency... which can be rented at reasonable prices and are just a short walk from the office. And it is with this trust that even today, my entire family and I place our trust in Dr. Tamara Karleuša Stradiot and Dr. Marko Končurat. Thank you so much!!! Perhaps the reader may also be interested in other information. Borders: As with the border between Italy and Slovenia, starting January 1, 2023, there will no longer be border controls at the border between Slovenia and Croatia; you can cross directly. Please note: you still need a "vignette" to transit through Slovenia; you can also purchase one online. Also starting January 1, 2023, the official currency in Croatia is the Euro. Accommodation: I used an agency with an office right across from Studio Stadiot and several apartments nearby (50-100 meters), making it conveniently located in the city center. Fair prices. Parking: As others have mentioned, there are plenty of paid parking lots nearby, both video-monitored and under surveillance. I found the parking lot in front of the port to be a good deal. Besides being very close (150 meters), it's free from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, while at other times it costs €1/hour with no time limit. The only downside is that it's difficult to find a spot in the morning, unless you wait for someone to leave. Easier in the late afternoon. I parked in the morning and left it there for two days. For those who prefer, the well-known bus company also has its terminus just a few meters away... the green one.

A day off traditionally dedicated to a visit to Dr. Tamara, whom we've been recommending as a dentist for over 20 years, including on our Croatia Info portal. A filling was fixed—perfectly, as always. The next checkup and visit to Rijeka are scheduled for a year's time.

I return regularly once a year for routine checkups and a few minor repairs. Over the years, the city has undergone significant modernization, with comforts and a lifestyle now similar to many others in Europe. where the personal touch is always present. They speak fluent Italian and other European languages. The practice is located in the center of Rijeka, right next to the pedestrian and shopping area, a beautiful city to visit and a pleasant place to visit, even for those waiting for you while receiving dental treatment. There are two convenient paid public parking lots within 100 meters, otherwise you'll have to look around. The building has a doorman and an older elevator, which, fortunately, has always been in working order. The practice is on the tenth floor with a fantastic view of the entire city. Tamara, Marko, and their staff are available for any need, including practical suggestions such as accommodations, restaurants, and any other needs. I also appreciate this practice because I can combine dental procedures and cleanings in one place, unlike our local practices. I'm from northern Italy, and I've made the trip both for the day and for the weekend, combining business with pleasure with a bit of seaside and a seafood dinner. I will definitely return to this practice again.
