Communication is easy via WhatsApp. The office is clean and both the Dentist (Dr Hernandez) and staff are all very friendly and communicate quite well in English.

Truly exceptional service! Dr. Fernanda Hernandez is very professional. She takes the time to explain and comment, and she is very reassuring. I had two crowns and two veneers done in two appointments, and the result is natural-looking for a more than reasonable price! I highly recommend her!

I went to Dental Express on a recommendation of a friend. I am happy with the whole experience of getting a crown on an existing temporary one. Also happy with the price.

After four appointment changes, I left a comment about an issue with a receptionist. The owner contacted me immediately, apologized, rescheduled my appointment, and offered me service. I contacted the receptionist again to confirm my appointment (so I wouldn't go for nothing) and wanted to reschedule once more. I tried contacting them by email, but received no response! Be warned...

My parents had a treatment with Dr Fernandez, he was nothing but exceptional. Prices are reasonable and treatment of the dentists towards us the patients was great. Great communication, over all 10 out of 10.

I recently had my teeth cleaned here, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were professional and friendly. Booking my appointment was simple and easy. I’m very happy with the service and would definitely return and recommend them to others. Andrea, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth, was amazing—thorough, gentle, and very professional.

⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS DENTAL LOCATION Dental Express Puerto Vallarta – Dr. Antonio Fernandez Sanchez I strongly advise against using this dental office based on my experience. Here’s what happened: I was given three pricing options for removable partials and chose the most expensive for durability. I received a written quote and scheduled the appointment. During the procedure, while…

e sedated for anxiety, the doctor said another procedure was needed. I agreed, but he never disclosed that it would cost an additional 10,000 pesos. After receiving temporary partials (which looked terrible), I was told adjustments would be made with the permanent ones. Two weeks later, the doctor admitted he missed telling me about another cost, which doubled the original price. I was shocked but decided to continue. I followed all instructions, including getting imaging done and delivering the thumb drive on December 2nd. I repeatedly requested the next steps via email and WhatsApp: Emailed on Dec 4, 5, 11, 19 Called on Dec 19 and spoke to the Ajijic office On Dec 20, I finally got a response saying they don’t provide treatment plans via email and that the doctor was too busy to see me until March—which would invalidate the bone graft and waste my money. I clarified I only wanted next steps, not a diagnosis. They then offered an appointment on Dec 30, a date they knew I couldn’t attend. The doctor admitted the mistake but refuses to take responsibility, offer a discount, or allow payment plans. He demands full payment upfront. Communication has been terrible: the doctor never responds, the office manager sent only one email, and WhatsApp messages were ignored. I picked up my thumb drive yesterday and will not return. This dentist more than doubled the cost after starting work, failed to communicate, and left me with unfinished treatment. DO NOT USE Dental Express Puerto Vallarta.

Excellent service! Dr. Hernandez was very professional. She replaced a broken crown. The receptionist (Lucia) found me an available appointment (due to a cancellation). Two appointments and everything was sorted (removing the broken crown, making the new one (in zirconium), and replacing it!). All for less than $350 Canadian.

Great prices and nicer than any dental facility I've been to in the US. Dr. Is friendly, gentle, and is bilingual. I got a custom mouth guard for night grinding, cleaning, cavity filled, and whitening session for about $200 USD total.

Had 4 crowns, upper front theet. At first, was impressed with prices and end result. They were 2 tones whitter than my other natural theet. I guess that was a misunderstanding, as I originally wanted to whitten my other theet , but dentist had recommended otherwise, but when theet arrived, they were whiter... That was 2 winters ago. Last year, while flossing, one crowned tooth unglued itself.…

Lucky that I was able to take it to my regular dentist in Canada and have it reglued. Last winter, I went back to dental Express with a friend who had work to be done and I told the dentist this had occurred. He mentioned it was a very rare thing.. WELL 2 weeks ago, another crowned tooth unglued. Again saved the tooth and had it reglued at my regular Canadian dentist who said my original tooth was grinded too much, not leaving much of a base for the crown... I guess the adage " you get what you pay for" is very appropriate. They should have better ciment glue!!!

I wish I had positive things to say about Express Dental. Unfortunately, this is not one of those reviews. 1.) Lack of Ethics A. Pricing • The pricing you see online does not reflect actual cost. While this is a fairly normal practice, things that are generally included in a procedure are not. • They advertise themselves as affordable, and at first glance they appear to be. Then all those little…

e small surprise fees add up. After it’s all said and done, you are paying the same prices as any other location here in Puerto Vallarta. • Prepare for x-rays and tomographies to not be included in the prices of the procedure you are getting - They’ll nonchalantly send you to get your tomography where they casually ask you for $1700 MXN. • Not all website pricing is accurate or up-to-date. A lack thereof in ethics makes this a business I cannot trust. 2.) Dentist/Patient Rapport/Trust A. Recommended Procedures • I cannot be convinced otherwise that this is a business where the dentists do not make commission, or financial incentives, off implant sales. I do not know this to be factual, but based on my experience, it seems like they do. I would have to see a yearly earnings statement to believe otherwise. These Dentists do not listen to you, your budget, or your needs. The most expensive procedures were pushed on me, and I had to tell my dentist no less than three (3) times that my budget did not allow for that. I have no issue advocating for myself and speaking up, but there are so many people in this world who do not advocate for their health. • While pushing implants on me, the dentist I worked with spoke of the poor quality of their bridges and how they would break in a couple of years. So, are you a company that provides quality product, or are you a company that just wants to push the most expensive procedures on the consumer? That was a huge red flag for me. I have been a sales professional for over 15 years, I know sales tactics when I see them. Upsell to the “superior product” because the more economical product will fail you in just a short time. You can suggest a higher quality solution without casting doubt on your more affordable options. Ethical businesses do not need to speak ill of their cheaper products to sell the more expensive ones because they stand by the quality of everything they produce. • My quote still includes implants even though I asked for it not to, and after reviewing all the other surprise fees, I wondered…. “Do I get the bill for the local anesthetic post-procedure?” This goes back to LISTENING to your patients. If a medical professional is not going to listen to a patient, they have no business working in that field. 3.) Accountability A. I decided to send a message to the office manager because they deserve feedback. They weren’t getting my business, and I thought they deserved to know why. The thing is, I will pay for the more expensive procedures and/or products. I won’t if you try to force me or push them on me. B. The office manager gave the generic “I’m sorry IF we made you feel that way” speech. The traditional apology without taking any actual accountability for what happened. C. They will say it’s about the patient, health first, it’s not about money, etc… Actions speak so much louder than words. • I find it odd that they only offer All-on-6 Implant Solutions when 99% of the other cosmetic dentistries offer the more affordable All-on-4. Most offer mini-implant options, which are very affordable. Not here. You’ll get a scripted speech about how an All-On-6 is the only way to go. I have always said a business will tell you everything you need to know about them by how they treat their cheapest customer. If you want to see how much integrity they have, insist on the most economical and/or “cheap” solutions. Then watch how the dynamics and treatments change. I can’t speak to what kind of restorative work they do because I did not make it that far. I draw the line at dishonesty and used car salesman tactics. Find a professional who will listen to you.

Staff speaks English very well, is transparent about prices, and didn't give me a hard time about not having been to the dentist in years. 100% recommend

Andrea gave an incredible cleaning, skillfully done by hand, with floss, and using electronics for a great price. I highly recommend Dental Express.

Gentle touch, and highly informative care. Just called on my vacation and got in and out in 30 mins. I’ve been to many dental hygienists in Canada this was by far the most painless teeth cleaning I’ve had. Thank you for the great care and service ❤️

Yesterday I had one of the best teeth cleaning procedures I’ve ever had after getting a referral here from a friend who lives here. In the US I’ve usually had just manual scaling, flossing and polishing. Here they use ultrasonic scaling ( water and vibrations) instead of manual scaling. It’s a much more comfortable and probably a more efficient way to do it. My doctor/ hygienist was Andrea and she…

was absolutely fantastic. All this and at home it’s usually around $150-200. Yesterday it was 190 pesos. $9.52. This is my second medical/dental procedure of had on this trip and both have been fantastic. I’ll be using both of these people in the future every year that I come down. Thanks again Andrea and Dental Express.
