However, we'd like to clarify several misunderstandings regarding your treatment and our clinical protocols. 1. There seems to be a significant misunderstanding regarding the implant process. Dental implants require 2 distinct stages. The 1st stage is the surgical placement of the implant. The second stage (usually 4–6 months later) is when the abutments and crowns are placed. It's standard clinical practice not to place abutments during the first stage after having extractions and bone augmentation, as the bone needs time to heal around the implant first. We're sorry that your local Dentist didn't clarify that you were simply between stages of a standard procedure. 2. We advise a 4-to-6 month healing period. Our team reaches out a few months in advance not to 'push' for an earlier surgery, but to allow our international patients ample time to find affordable flights and plan their travel, not to shorten the required healing time. 3. We sincerely apologize if you felt uncomfortable during your visit. We've addressed your concerns regarding staff conduct with the clinical team. 4. As our shuttle is a complimentary service, unforeseen traffic can occasionally cause minor delays. However, we always prioritize ensuring our patients arrive on time for their clinical appointments. Dear Helen, We understand that you're frustrated with the outcome of your dental treatments, and we want to address your concerns. While we appreciate your feedback, we feel that the situation is more complex than what you've described. First, we want to clarify that we did refund you for the services that you requested and this detail is important to be mentioned. Secondly, we believe that it's important to consider the challenges we faced during your treatment: Your request for sedation for all appointments made communication and feedback difficult, and we had to reschedule multiple appointments to accommodate your needs. While our consent forms clearly outline patient responsibilities, we understand that not everyone reads them thoroughly. Please note all our restorative treatments have a 5-year guarantee and you weren't going to pay for any of the crown replacement if you decided to give us the opportunity to make things right, which unfortunately, it wasn't the case. Regarding the other Dentists' assessments of your crowns, it's important to note that it's impossible to see through zirconia crowns. We even suggested starting a conversation with the specialist to clarify the recommended treatments and help with the next steps, which sadly, you refused.
