Dr. Anastasova-Yoshida joined the family clinic — which had been operating for over 20 years before she graduated — immediately upon completing her degree at the Institute of Dental Medicine in Sofia, where she simultaneously specialised in and taught Prosthetic Dental Medicine. Her pursuit of academic excellence led her to the Medical Centre of Saarland University, Germany, where she conducted dissertation research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Pospiech, a globally recognised expert in prosthetic dentistry and ceramic restorations.
Following her research, she joined the Danube Private University (DPU) in Austria as a senior doctor (Oberarzt), where she specialised in and taught Aesthetic Dentistry and Implantology and headed the university's CEREC training programme. She concurrently obtained a certificate in CAD/CAM technologies at the Digital Dental Academy in Berlin. Her academic output includes publications in material science, aesthetic and prosthetic dentistry, and dental student course books and manuals. She has been featured in Capital Health and Cosmetic Dentistry — Practice & Science Magazine.
Dr. Marta Vasilev: German-Trained PhD Orthodontist
Dr. Marta Vasilev brings orthodontic expertise of a calibre rarely found outside academic teaching centres. A graduate and PhD holder from Wurzburg University, Germany, she accumulated over 10 years of hands-on experience in leading orthodontic clinics in Germany before joining Dental Care Lounge. She is a member of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the Bulgarian Orthodontic Society (BOO), the Bulgarian Orthodontic Aligner Society (BOAS), and the Bulgarian Dentist Association. Her clear aligner expertise is backed by formal society membership in Bulgaria's dedicated aligner organisation.
