When I asked if she could check whether I had any cavities, she quickly responded, “Look, if you want to know, we need to do a scan—I can’t fully see otherwise.” I wasn’t aware that a scan was required for confirmation, and she didn’t take even a moment to explain. After I did the scan, when the results came out, Dr. Nunhathai rushed in and said, ฟันไม่ผุนะคะ โอเคนะคะ จบนะคะ - No cavities, okay? Everything’s fine, that’s it,” and then quickly left. I didn’t even get the chance to ask the questions I had in mind. This clinic has had a great reputation for decades, and I’ve never encountered a dentist here with this kind of attitude. Highly recommend to ask who is your dentist before making a visit.

I waited another 10 minutes, and no staff member came to see me. I had to ask the person with the equipment to go find someone. At 2:43 PM, they said the doctor was busy with another case and asked if I wanted to wait another 10 minutes or reschedule. I'm sorry to say this, but if it was going to be this late, why didn't you inform me earlier? I could have used that time for other things, like getting something to eat before the extraction. Patients have errands to run too. This is blatant tardiness, and there's a lack of commitment to customers that they can be seen earlier.

Fifty Fifth Plaza is a commercial complex situated at the Thonglor soi entrance from Sukhumvit Road, in one of Bangkok's most established affluent residential and dining neighborhoods. The Thonglor location has served as the flagship branch of the Denta-Joy network since the practice's founding in 1983, more than 41 years ago. Denta-Joy was founded by Dr. Narandr Chevangkul, whose credentials place him among Thailand's most decorated orthodontists. He graduated with first honors from Mahidol University in 1982 and completed a Master of Science in Dentistry from Temple University in Pennsylvania in 1990. He holds the Diplomate credential from the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), one of the highest levels of orthodontic certification recognized internationally and held by relatively few practitioners in Thailand. Dr. Narandr is a member of the Invisalign Asia-Pacific Advisory Board, reflecting his standing in the global clear aligner industry. He pioneered the introduction of lingual braces in Thailand in 1983, the same year Denta-Joy opened, and was the first dental provider in Thailand to begin offering Invisalign treatment in 2001. In 2019, Denta-Joy became the first clinic outside the United States to offer Brava by BRIUS, a newer clear aligner system developed in the United States.
