Nobody says that because the dentists themselves have forgotten why they're there, or rather, nobody has told them why they're there, because they too are trying to put customers in their place. And these are all young people, members of what we call the new generation, but for some reason, they consider themselves superior to everyone else. But when a foreign customer comes in, say a European customer, a German, an Englishman, oh my God, the attention, the care... and they even try to lecture us. Why? Because we cancel appointments! Yes, we understand, they earn less money that day because of our missed appointments, but we are also self-employed people, meaning: while they can take Saturdays (half-day, for example) and Sundays off to rest, we have to work Saturdays and Sundays because the work we do, the sector we are in, unfortunately requires such a work pace, so it's not in our hands! Unexpected tasks come up frequently for us! We would very much like to work according to a plan, but most of the time it doesn't happen!!! In such situations, unfortunately, we have to postpone our appointments, we don't cancel them, we postpone them! So: we tell the business that we will come again! They said, "If that's the case, book your appointments 1-2 days in advance when your work is confirmed." But it doesn't work! Our treatment is currently interrupted because of this scolding we received, and we're hesitant to make another appointment for fear of another unexpected event. Even if we do make an appointment, I don't even want to think about the scolding we'll receive if we have to postpone it again! And we are far older than these kids who are scolding us; we come from a generation that still understands manners, politeness, and understanding! But try explaining that to these people! Politeness is crucial! When we witness how few people today have grown up with what we call family upbringing, we wonder how much further our society will go, how much more the manners we value will deteriorate??? Politeness is very important! But putting all that aside, we also suffer losses. Because of people who don't deliver their work on time, we don't just lose five hundred, eight hundred, or maybe a thousand liras at a dental clinic; sometimes hundreds of thousands are lost! And believe me, we can't scold anyone for the losses they cause us, because these things are commonplace in this business world, unfortunately! There's nothing we can do! In the business world, and a dental clinic is also a business (!), anything can happen, and yet we continue to work diligently without losing our composure, even with those who cause us hundreds of thousands of losses! Do you know why? Because they can't get their money from somewhere else! They have their own problems! They're not doing it willingly!!! Would they? After all, we all want to earn money! Why would they knowingly and willingly cause us a loss, right? We want to close this topic by saying, may God grant our colleagues and children in this clinic wisdom, understanding, and insight. I had dental fillings and teeth whitening. My doctor is Specialist Başak Odabaşioğlu. I had a very successful experience. The clinic is very nice, modern, clean, and emphasizes hygiene. Easy appointment scheduling and accessibility with specialists are excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who's considering going. I'm so glad I went.
