I went in for an emergency and Dr. Frank Acosta diagnosed me by showing me my cavities with his high-definition intraoral camera. That's the only way I believed what I had. Super professional. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your attention. A true dental tourism experience; I visited from Miami and the cost was 50% less. I highly recommend them. Dr. Mesa and Dr. Eduardo are true professionals.
I am an American and I go to the DR to see Dr. Acosta for any major dental work. He always does a great job and his staff is wonderful too.
RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL I went to this dentist because of an emergency. The treatment went well, both the doctor and the secretary were nice. I told them many times, over the phone and during the appointment that I needed additional documents for my travel insurance (I was visiting the DR). for my treatment. Then, the insurance sent me the additional document to fill up, I sent an e-mail got no answer. I called, they apologized and said they will send it during the day. It was not done. I wrote on whatsapp (as they gave me their number) several times : they'd tell me it will be done during the day, or that the doctor was away, then I finally was able to reach them again by phone and they told me it's not possible because the treatment was a gift. Excuse me? 100 dollars for a carie is not a gift. I DID NOT ASK FOR ANY GIFT. then, the secretary said that the doctor would call me in an hour, I waited no one called. No one answered afterwards. It's been literally 2 months and today they told me that they did me a favour and reduced the price by 50 % for me because i'm a student and that the additional document is not included in the price and that we never agreed on that. I have not asked for any four, any sale or anything else, I've been told a price and paid it. I have no complain about the price (even though yes, this office is a LOT MORE expensive than other competent dentists in the city) but I DO NOT ACCEPT BEING LIED TO, I do not accept being treated thay way because i'm a student and a tourist. I SIMPLY ASKED FOR A DOCUMENT ! DENTISTS ARE USED TO FILLING OUT DOCUMENTS FOR INSURANCES. It is a medical office not a beach attraction, I do not expect nor do I ask for a price negociation. I paid the price that was required with no discussion, and asked for that document BEFORE the appointment. Everything was clear. This is unacceptable, rude and unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST. I have other things to do on my holidays than going to a dentists office to ask for a document that take 2 minutes to fill. IF IT IS FOR AN EMERGENCY PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I would still like to thank the secretary who has always been polite and professional. Clarifying something considering the answer as this is frustrating : this is not about money and I have never discussed fee or anything with you. I came for emergency without knowing what I had and because I 'm not a dentist. I NEVER told you that I don't have money... where is that coming from? All I asked for is a document for my insurance. Thank your for your disrespect and lies.

Side note: Confidential Studio, as a health center, our priority is the solution of the patients needs/pain. We have never received a message like this in our 20 years of experience. This is why we are taking the liberty of answering this negative comment. So unfortunate that you felt this way, considering you went into my office stating that you didn’t have money because you were an exchange student. Because of this you were taken into consideration. This procedure is very complex it costs RD$10,000 (US$180), and it wasn't a simple cavity as you stated. The patient went into our office with acute pulpitis, which this procedure was taken into place , removing the cavity and the dental pulp (start of endodontic treatment). All of this was begun without asking if there was money or not, it was begun to remove her pain, which is our main priority. Additionally in this treatment was included X-rays and a complete diagnostic of all the problems she had. So the patient can inform her doctor in country of origin, to be treated before the lesions worsen . In this treatment and for the SAME FEE the doctor diagnosed all the cavities the patient had. In conclusion she was charged RD$5,000 (US$98) for all our work, because she was an exchange student and was taken into consideration. We would also like for the harassing to stop, in our phone lines/ WhatsApp/employees/etc.
