I questioned why I still had to contact them since I could pay privately, and she said she couldn't do anything, basically telling me to figure it out myself... I've never been treated so badly by a receptionist. In short, I have the serious problem that Dr. Simone described, and no solution, just more anxious.

Indeed, I always strive to handle all my patients' cases with great responsibility, considering the patient's entire history as reported to me, and I plan according to the current situation in which I receive each one. With you, it was exactly like that. And for a good diagnosis and planning, I always request initial exams, and if necessary, I ask for complementary ones. The radiology clinics to which we refer patients for exams operate with confidentiality and generate a login and password for patients, which our clinic's secretary cannot access. For this reason, I advise my patients to schedule a follow-up appointment in 8 days, to allow time to receive the exams and reports. In your case, there was a problem with the release of the exam by your health insurance, which further delayed our response, and in these cases, Vivian, regardless of the type of service provided by the health insurance company, only the policyholder can resolve the issue, which is beyond our competence and access to our system. That's why our secretary advised you to contact the radiology clinic to deal directly with them. It wasn't her intention to convey that message, especially since we understand that written words don't have the intonation of our voice, and depending on how we feel at the moment, we interpret them incorrectly. And if you chose to have the exam done privately, you just had to present the request at the radiology clinic, and they would perform it. I understand that these cases of refusal of procedures by the health insurance company are very annoying and greatly delay our lives. But I hope you now understand that no authorization was made by our clinic, as we cannot resolve the particularities of authorization from health insurance companies, which only authorize coverage for policyholders. Regarding your generalized anxiety, this was considered from our first contact. And I sincerely hope that you will seek a way to control it, in order to have a better quality of life. Your case was left pending because you informed us that you were going to travel, but we have your entire medical record, which includes all the support that my team and I have given you. As we work with multiple professionals, which your case requires, after your consultation with the three of us, we were outlining the best way to resolve your case safely, scientifically, and responsibly. We prescribed medication and informed you that after you returned from your trip, we would resume the necessary procedures. We are very sorry that we did not fully satisfy you, but rest assured that we will always act with respect for ethics and the particularities of each patient, using the necessary tests for accurate diagnoses and always working in consultation with our team, which is competent in its area of expertise, so that everything is done according to the need, and that we can align the patient's wishes with what is possible to do to promote health, stability, aesthetics, and patient satisfaction. Because there is no way to carry out a correct treatment without a good diagnosis and planning. Remember what I told you, you are bigger and far superior to your fears.
