he dentist estimated a treatment duration of 18 to 24 months. However, the treatment was completed in 6 months, which initially seemed great. However, this resulted in two dissatisfactions due to the dentist's lack of skill. First, because of the long treatment timeframe, I ended up opting for an aesthetic self-ligating brace, which cost me R$ 1,000.00 more than the metal braces, which would have been my choice if the actual 6-month timeframe had been predicted. Furthermore, I believe the total cost was higher due to the initially projected timeframe. 2. I hired Dr. Angela's services, but all the work was done by her assistant, who, although very competent, is not the professional we contracted with and should have been supporting the dentist, not performing all the procedures (I hope she is at least well compensated). And the worst part is that Dr. Angela neglects direct patient care to stay in her office recording videos for her Instagram. It's disrespectful to the patient; you hire a professional and receive a blogger. 3. This situation of the dentist's blogging results in embarrassing situations. Once, during an appointment, while her assistant was performing the service, the dentist arrived fully gowned and wearing gloves – when she punctually came to check on the work being done (many times I entered and left the office without the dentist even looking at the final result) – she wasn't wearing gloves and left my mouth tasting of her hand cream, showing a complete lack of asepsis – to record a video for her Instagram, disrupting the service being performed by her assistant. She posted the video, which included my image, without my authorization, and only after my complaint did she remove the video from her social media. Furthermore, on that occasion, I ended up leaving the office with my upper braces loose because of all the disruption caused by the dentist, and I had to return the next day to complete the service. 4. At the end of the treatment, the dentist wanted to sell me new whitening treatments and another service, but given my refusal, considering my dissatisfaction, she simply stopped speaking to me and I finished the entire treatment with her assistant. Therefore, given what has been reported and other situations, Dr. Angela is not a professional I would recommend.
