uneasy, but I now understand things aren’t like work clock. During the wait, one of his assistants handed me a pain pill and some water. It was almost an hour when I got in, he apologized many times even though he didn’t have to. He reviewed my condition, and unfortunately the estimate of extraction with bone grafting for 5 teeth was over $1500 dollars and just too much on my pension. He said don’t worry about it, asks to take out blood from my arm, I don’t remember exactly what it was for, something about separating the blood and the plasma and that the results would be great, less pain and faster healing… Remarkable work took his time numbing me up, the blood withdrawal was quick and great team work with a short woman doctor that was with him. I was out of there in 45 minutes. He charged me $500 total. I was expecting pain and lots of swelling the next day, but I was surprised by almost no discomfort, I guess he wasn’t lying. He gets 4 stars only because my wife was yelling me all night for getting home late. Thank you and will be back to see what I do where I am missing my teeth

paid him the quote for the 8 implants. Well that I didn’t like so I went back to the luxurious dental office in La Jolla to get the 4-implant procedure done there. Doc didn’t know what to say when I told him what Dr. Mark wanted to do with 8 implants and his cost, I could sense he was looking at me like an idiot since I spent more $ in La Jolla for something not as great. Later I read into Dr. Mark’s dental background, I guess he has a double specialty where he was also taught on a third. Still he didn’t have to be a jerk and decline my denture.
Went had my tooth removed.. he was great I'm planning on going again when I can make it down.. i live in san diego so it's easy for me to get affordable dental.. the states want alot of money. I go to another country cause mine doesn't want me to be able to afford it. Just came back.. what great service.. had the best staff.. thank you again for helping me someone who cant afford American…

Great dental office. My father went here for over 40 years & now we go here! Dr. Bartell's son and father are great. Not a fancy place, but very attentive, clean and efficient. You will be in good hands!

Dr. Bartell has been my dentist for 30 years... I moved to Texas from San Diego in 1996 but I drive to San Diego to visit friends and to come to my wonderful dentist! This dentist office is very very good at what they do. They are nice, professional, and honest. I come from Los Angeles to come get my teeth cleaned and worked on because they are very affordable and they tell you the truth about what you need done on your teeth.

phone call and had the root canal specialist wait for me. The specialist woman was great, she made sure everything was clean, took multiple x-rays on her digital machine... She said since both roots were still vital, Dr. Mark would see me next. The next part was quick what he did, did the core buildup and prepped quickly. They placed two temporary crowns and was told the crowns would be ready in a week to let the Root canals heal up. It’s incredible, the total bill was less than 1 root canal I had been quoted in San Diego not including the crown. Great work, nice people, and my teeth don’t hurt!

I came in with Dr. Mark Bartell from a referral because I had swallowed a fixed bridge done by another doctor and had to go through some unfortunate circumstances. more than 15 minutes doing the crown lengthening and re-prepping the teeth. Dr. Minerva who works with him, made a temporary bridge handmade, it was like a work of art. I was given some antibiotic gels to place around the gums and two week later I came back for the impressions and a few a days later the bridge. It was less like $600 bucks for the bridge, he said he felt bad about what happened to me and threw in a little discount as well as not charging a penny for the crown lengthening. You don’t find too many of these dentists. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

He asked if he previous doctors just place the crown over the half-broken tooth? YUP. He said I need a crown lengthening for a good size crown. I don’t know, I was numb laughing, and he was speedy Gonzalez on some race, before I knew it, he was done. The cute Doctora did the temp crown and they glued it on with some super dental glue to hold up till after new years. He only charged me $50 bucks and took that as an advancement towards the Zirconia crown I would be getting later. Honest and doesn’t screw your over like others, no wonder everyone at my tattoo parlor recommends this guy.
I been seeing Dr. Mark’s father for over 30 years now, but it was his turn to see me this time for an implant. Thank you, Dr. Mark Bartell, for removing the tooth in my mouth that was just a pain, I couldn’t sleep for days before that. You were very gentle and have a great staff making sure I was always comfortable. I can’t wait for my implant!

My family and I have been visiting Dr. Mark and his team for a couple of years now and it has always been great! I have been going to Dr Bartell for years. Nicely decorated office that is very clean. I have a beautiful smile thanks to Dr. Bartell and Minerva. You can get in quick if you have am emergency. Most of the patients are from the US. I though traveled far (Seattle) to see Dr Bartell but there where patients there from Hawaii. Dr Bartell is the best!!
