simply make me feel at ease. I have had 9 extractions, bone grafting and 6 implants done. I've had appts with Dr. Luken since April 8, 2025 pretty much on a monthly basis, and I live in San Diego. The 3.5 hr drive each way is well worth the trip. Dr. Luken is a professional in every sence of the word. I have a few appts to get my crowns put in and I have to say that I feel very comfortable because Dr. Luken takes the time I need to get through a procedure, her patience level is very high. The staff is constantly checking in on you as well. It's an incredible family practice with a very calming suite of treatment rooms. Dr. Luken's son is also an experinced dentist, he intervened in a procedure I needed to have done and Dr. Luken observed the entire time. With regards to cost, it's unbeaten to anything we'd get in the US. I highly recommend Dr. Lunkens' services to ALL, you will never want to visit another dental office. I had another appt yesterday at Clia Dental, it had been 2+ months since my last appointment. When we arrived, we were greeted by Dr. Luken who warmly welcomed me back with a big hug and thanked me for the review I had done. I felt at ease immediately when she introduced me to the 2 specialists my appointment was going to be with, reassuring me that I was going to be in very good hands. The first was with Dr.Angel, a root canal specialist who explained what he'd be doing and to simply raise my hand if I felt any discomfort. I never raised my hand since everything went so smoothly. 30 minutes into the appointment, I felt my hand being touched and realized it was Dr. Luken, I squeezed her hand and gave her a thumbs up. The fact that Dr. Luken came into the room to see how I was doing really reassured me. She simply cares above and beyond about her patients! Further into the procedure she returned to observe the procedure Dr. Carlos was doing and looked into my mouth. I was very pleased with how gentle Dr. Carlos was. When he told me "you're going to feel pressure", I felt none 🙂 Yes, there are many dental places in Los Algodones but none better than Clia Dental. The entire staff is exceptional. Mabel who is their receptionist is invaluable as well. Prior to leaving yesterday, I heard her on the phone with a new patient who had just arrived to Los Algodones and needed assistance getting to Clia Dental. Mabel offered to go meet them wherever they were to get them to Clia Dental. Talk about SERVICE!!! My next appointment is tomorrow to have my crowns fitted. I'm excited and have no apprehension whatsoever because I know I couldn't be in better hands. I will continue to let all my friends in the US know about Clia Dental.

All the staff attended my examination and the whole team discussed my case and my needs. I decided right away to get my multiple treatments at Clia and never regretted it. I so far made two trips to the clinic ( I live in Canada so it was a big decision for me to go to Los Algodones) and I have to go back next October to finish the treatments. So far I got 4 root canals, a bone graf, 2 implants, 8 veneers and 5 crowns. I did not feel any pain at all since Dr Clarissa put me on antibiotics, pain killers and anti-inflammatory right from the start. She is soo gentle and sweet, I would go to no other clinic than hers. They are now my family. They treated me with professionalism, answered all my questions and took care of me with a lot of respect and kindness. Their rates are very good and they make themselves available for all the treatments needed during a given time period. They even sing during the treatments, which comfort me a lot! I cannot wait to go back to the clinic to get my final treatments and have a beautiful smile!

about people. It honestly feels like visiting family. Unfortunately I've required some intense procedures-1 was due to an infection I got from failed treatment at the above mentioned group-SD. Thankfully i found CLIA! Like many folks, I really dislike going for dental work. My entire life I had severe stress & anxiety everytime & I'm almost 60! It was so bad I avoided going for many years to my detriment. I was seriously considering finding a practice that offered putting me to sleep for treatment. UNTIL CLIA that is! From my first phone contact with Dr Clarisa I felt completely comfortable & relaxed. That's true today & I know it will continue into the future, as long as they are here. The folks there create a calming, peaceful & trustful environment. They provide 3 totally private treatment rooms so you are assured the least possible exposure to germs from other patients (unlike SD where the chairs were practically on top of each other-ick!) I highly recommend giving your trust to CLIA Dental. No, I am not affiliated, related or anything like that lol 😆! It is simply a miracle for me to be able to visit and be treated at a dental facility without any stress or panic attacks at all.. PRIOR to CLIA the physical & mental stress caused by dental treatment created such major anxiety that even Xanax could not calm. I think my body just burns through it. Dr Clarisa & Dr Carlos are my surgeon & endodontist for life! I also consider them my friends! I trust them completely & that is HUGE! A big hug & thank you to all of you!
