I can only recommend the work of Dr. György Szalontai! He performed the implantation of my mother's implant. According to him, the procedure was quick and painless, and there was no serious swelling or pain afterwards. The office is modern, they take the necessary CT scan on site, which speeds up the process a lot. They take the disinfection of the office very seriously and do it precisely.

He forced me to take a Covid test before the procedure (by the way, the office did not require this in the previous 3 weeks), when I did not go back to his chair after anesthesia, he shouted at me in the hallway that I would have to pay 5000 Forints for the test. This is a premium service at a premium price, so I expect the oral surgeon to listen to me and exhaust all possibilities to alleviate the discomfort or not to shout at me across the waiting room like a coachman. I recommend taking note that there are oral surgeons on every corner in Budapest, so they should provide services in a way that makes the patient feel good (compared to the possibilities). More empathy and less face. I would have gladly paid Citydent 100,000HUF for the two teeth, but then someone else would get it. When I got home, I saw that I had an appointment a week later and +10,000 HUF was entered (due to cancellation on the same day). I recommend that you arrange it with the doctor - if he were more empathetic and respectful, I would certainly not come after anesthesia. In a word, I am not saying that he is not a good professional, but this attitude has no place in a private practice in the city center. I encourage everyone to get out of their chair and go somewhere else if they don't trust their doctor. Here, the doctor is just like anyone else - either learn to treat a paying guest or take your losses.

During your stay, we did not perceive the concerns detailed in your comment, given that you did not make them known to us during the treatment that began, which lasted approximately 10 minutes. Allow us to inform you about the details related to the care, partly repeating what was said in our office. Covid-test We may not need to go into much detail about the extent to which a dental office is exposed to the pathogen of the current epidemic, but that is precisely why we must do everything we can to rule out the possibility of possible infection. This is done not only to protect our employees, but also because we want to treat the patient who comes after you in a clean environment, just as you can be sure that the protective and disinfection measures have been taken even before you sat in the dentist's chair. That is why we test in cases where we are preparing for a more risky intervention in terms of the spread of the virus. And that is why we wear funny, some say ridiculous masks. Anesthetic gel The anesthetic gel - which we use primarily in children - is used for surface anesthesia (e.g. for removing loose/loose baby teeth, baby tooth debris stuck in the gums), it does not relieve the tension or pain caused by the anesthetic fluid injected under the mucosa - at the depth to which the anesthetic is injected. Of course, if the patient absolutely insists on it, we will not refuse it. We do not start or perform interventions without the patient's consent! About the patient's expectations We do everything we can to reduce tension and divert attention, if for no other reason than because it is much easier to work with a relaxed, trusting patient than, say, a less cooperative one who just "suffers" the intervention. This is sometimes very difficult, especially when we are dealing with a more anxious, difficult-to-communicate personality, which is often visible in the patient already in the waiting room. Some people misunderstand the meaning of "service fee" and think that they can "order" for their money, like from a menu in a restaurant. Which is a mistake! Although I have not experienced a similar situation in your case, your writing may still arouse stray thoughts in others, which I would like to avoid. The service fee does not include the patient determining the type of interventions, it is the doctor's responsibility and duty to do so. Refusal or refusal of care is not only the patient's right. In the interest of patient safety, it is not permissible for medical professionals to put individual requests before professionalism just to arouse sympathy. In this case, we could not avoid performing the Covid test for professional reasons. In this case, we could not avoid performing the Covid test. It is also important to emphasize, starting from this case, that those who use a service may not only have expectations, but also obligations. This includes, among other things, the obligation to pay the service fee even if the patient only partially used it! I have no information about how many "corner" dentists there are that you mention, know about or visit. Then I went to another dental office with the CBCT, where they did a new examination and discovered the error for 25 thousand HUF! It was a problem that I could see with a layman's eye when they showed it to me, only the teeth should have been rotated! I wouldn't have written a negative review if they had been willing to respond, but I think it's nonsense that I paid for the core examination, they did it wrong, and then when I ask them to look at it again, they don't even bother. I wanted to get this tooth done here, now I'm going to spend half a million forints on it somewhere else...
