A very dear friend of mine recommended dentistry. I have had several treatments so far, and I have always received professional dental care, whether it was an inlay filling, which was performed by dentist Dr. György Szalontai, or tartar removal.

Great quality, nice people. I've been going to them for years, I always leave satisfied. Of course, the price is higher than elsewhere, that's for sure.

Sadly, the dentists in this facility are provided with a plain saddle chair to sit on with no armrests. They have to hold with their gloved hand, grab the seat under their buttocks to adjust it for getting seated. Then, alas, use that same glove to fumble around in the patients' mouth. another touching at the same surface on their chair. This is the third dental clinic I visited in Budapest where the same unhygenic process happened, I am so fed up and disgusted. There are dentist's chairs designed with armrests to easily move them around by the underarm, without manipulating by the gloved hand, offering the possibility of cleaner procedures but there is no awareness or this does not seem to be a priority in these places. I am putting this out there, hoping that my review can trigger a positive change.

It is possible that they could have saved my tooth at CityDent even then (Dr. Evelin Fehér also outlined the possibility of root canal treatment), but after almost 4 weeks of mistreatment, antibiotics and inflammation at previous places, I decided to have an extraction and subsequent implantation here. Because of the extraction, Dr. Zsombor Bedő came in earlier that day, but unfortunately he still missed his appointment with his patient who arrived on time because of me. Despite this, he was extremely patient with me throughout, and was able to remove most of the tooth, including the nerve, even though it was inflamed. The doctor and his magical assistant were calm and kind throughout, which I really needed at the time, and thanks to their work, the pain that had been tormenting me for weeks finally stopped. The remaining part of my tooth and its 2 inflamed roots were then removed the following day by oral surgeon Dr. Gergely Kosik, who was also extremely professional throughout, but also patient and kind enough to me. I would like to highlight this because in the state of mind in which I arrived at CityDent, it was very important that such humane, compassionate doctors and assistants performed the procedures in addition to their professional expertise. On the Friday after the surgical removal, I asked the office for medication by e-mail, because I was very afraid that the whole thing might become inflamed again. In addition to prescribing me painkillers and antibiotics (in case of emergency), Dr. Gergely Kosik even called me on Friday afternoon and reassured me that all the symptoms I was experiencing were completely normal. For me, this call was something that I think went beyond the expected care, and for which I will definitely contact the doctor if the implantation comes up. I have been through this for almost a week now, and my inflammatory symptoms and wound pain are getting weaker, while I am getting stronger, so I trust that I will quickly pull myself together and soon forget the nightmare they caused me at the other 2 dental offices. respect, if the pleasant impression had not been somewhat overshadowed by the fact that I only requested an appointment to the office today, i.e. I traveled from Salgótarján to Budapest, because during my visit a week ago - to another local doctor - I received the professional opinion based on the same CT scan and dental condition that at least two of my teeth need to be filled, one of which will probably need root canal treatment, if it can still be saved at all, because it is not excluded that they will have to be pulled. On the other hand, what happened was that the doctor actually did not see any intervention as necessary, which I was happy to accept, but it also involuntarily raised the question in my mind as to whether if his colleague had been the attending physician today, he would have made the same decision, or would he have started filling my teeth? And although I really don't regret that it turned out this way, I am a little surprised that there could be such a big difference in professional matters. What I would also suggest is perhaps putting up a sign at the entrance of the building, which would help those who are not so familiar with Budapest find their way, and if the opening hours are different from usual, they should be posted on the entrance door or on the website, because for example, I wanted to go back on the Thursday afternoon before Good Friday to clarify the appointment because I did not receive an email confirmation, but I found the doors closed at 3 pm, which I did not see any information about anywhere, while according to the website they were supposed to be open until 5 pm that day. Apart from all this, I can still recommend dentistry.

I'm Korean, and while on a short trip to Hungary, my gums were swollen and my teeth were so sore I couldn't eat. I visited the dentist. He was so kind and even prescribed antibiotics and painkillers, so I was able to finish my trip safely! It was the best decision to come here with the intention of having my 9 bad teeth filled, but only and exclusively under anesthesia, because I am terrified.
