I recently had a professional dental cleaning at this clinic, and I was extremely happy with the experience. I had visited another clinic before, so I definitely have something to compare it with. The procedure was comfortable, quick, and done with great care and quality. I also really appreciated that I could pay by card, which made everything very convenient. The doctor was excellent — professional, attentive, and made me feel at ease throughout the visit. I will definitely come back again whenever I need another cleaning or have any dental concerns in the future.

My experience with this clinic got worse with every new appointment I had to make. I went there for a checkup, a professional tooth cleaning and to get a new night guard. The male doctor did not do the checkup and when I asked the female doctor for it (only she can speak english), she just said, that he would have told me, if he saw something suspicious. That is not a checkup, but okay. The tooth cleaning is short and I had cleanings with way more steps in the past, but my teeth were clean and smooth afterwards. And now comes the important part concerning the night guard. First of all, they have no idea of bruxism and that this is totally individual. If I did not have asked about what night guard I will get, I would have gotten a soft one, because this is the standard, they deliver. Without asking for the personal situation or preferences. A soft night guard is NOT for everybody. Even, when they / she try to convince you of that. When I came to the fitting, the night guard did not fit, it was way too high in the back, so that only my last teeth had contact. Let me tell you, that this will damage your teeth over time, because the few ones, that have contact, have to bear all the pressure. She will tell you otherwise though. So I asked to adjust it and with every round she had to fine-tune it, her smile went away more. Note: She is only friendly as long as you function, as she wants you to, e. g. accept what she says. Own knowledge is not appreciated. Concerning the hard night guard it fits my needs now, but it is very thin and I expect it to break in the near future. Let’s see. To test it, I wanted to make a soft night guard, too. So I came again for the imprint. She spoiled the first one and hurt me in the back of my mouth, because the metal sample was too big for my mouth. Then the doctor did a second one, hurt me even worse and told me to open my mouth even more, what made the pain worse. To clarify that: I wanted to let loose, so that the muscle in the back of my mouth could relax, but he stressed me into opening my mouth again more, because in his opinion, that would relax the muscle (not the case!) what caused more pain. Saying something of course did not change anything and I had pain and wound areas for days. He also spoiled the imprint and had to adjust it again and again it was painful. When I came back for the fitting, no smile anymore, no fake friendliness. She had to adjust the night guard again because – again – it was too high in the back. And now comes the most impudent part: Of course she did not show me the night guard in the clinic and I did not have a closer look at it, because I did not think of something bad. At home I saw, that it already had a hole in it. When I wrote her that on Whatsapp – guess what: She dared to say, that I caused the damage!!! How brazen is that? When I confronted her, of course she sticked to her story, and I bet, she will tell the same here, but what reason do I have, to spend time for this very long review, if this wasn’t a super frustrating experience, that I want future patients to know about?! She offered me to get a new night guard though (silent admission of guilt …) but without adjusting it! As they deliver night guards, that don’t fit, why should I do that? That is complete nonsense. And after all I experienced there, I really wasn’t in the mood for going there again. So I kept the one with hole, because I don’t wear it as much as the hard one anyways. That was my experience. Decide for yourself. Finding a capable dentist is hard everywhere in the world, so good luck. I am curious about the response now. But please believe me: There is absolutely no reason to make up stuff like that.

I had a great experience at Chicago Dental Studio in Sarandë. The staff was very kind, professional, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I was nervous at first, but they did an excellent job and were very gentle and attentive. The clinic was clean, modern, and organized. I’m very happy with the treatment I received and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist in Sarandë!
