If you request an appointment, the serious thing is that they respond to you so you can schedule it. But if they don't even respond to that, it speaks volumes about how unserious they are. It's not serious to receive a half-hearted, unconcrete, and unserious response after a few days. Disreputable. The only thing missing is for them to say that "they don't appear in our database under that name."
