BioHealth Clinic is amazing! I’ve been going to them for years. I’ve had multiple fillings redone, two implants, and I get a cleaning every time I’m in Costa Rica. They do an amazing job making you feel welcome, and their relaxing setup is fantastic. I 100% recommend them!
dr's barrientos and madrigal do a wonderful job. they have the latest technology, they are skillful, and very careful. they explain things for me, they don't hurry. they don't recommend work i don't need. i respect them and would recommend them to anyone wanting a biological dentist. by the way, their price for implants was less than that charged by other dentists.
I feel very pleased when I go to the clinic; they make me feel like an important patient. Today I had my teeth whitened and I was quite satisfied with the results!
My experience visiting the dentist used to be out of obligation, and fear would always get the better of me 😐 but... since I started going to this clinic, it's become a pleasure. I feel safe and satisfied not only with the results but also with the specialists' attention and their ability to explain the required procedures, and the charisma with which they work!!
I will recommend them to everyone! My first whitening procedure, along with a cleaning, had impeccable results, zero pain, and minimal sensitivity, as promised. Excellent care from both doctors! Thank you for the experience.

Definitely do NOT recommend this place. Came to have 2 metal fillings removed, which took 5 hours. Result, severe nerve pain, (still after 4 weeks) which will result in 2 rootcanals. Typical after a sales talk to have 4 other root canals replaced for an implant? but who knows if that is true. What I do know is that I do not recommend this practice. Cheap is definitely not always the best…

Mr. Dirk, on behalf of the Biohealth Clinic team, we would like to express our concern about your comment and defend our reputation and prestige with honesty. As part of our right to reply, we express the following, attesting that our response is true and legally based. First, when you came to our clinic, you already had problems with the teeth you mentions. We even recommended and requested a CBCT scan on the day of your appointment to make a better diagnosis of your case. This problem was not caused by us, it was caused by the misaligned metal dental fillings that you had with mercury and cavities for a long time. Up to now, you have not followed our recommendations and have not had the CBCT scan, despite having been given a referral to have it done at our radiology center. Second, your appointment did not last 5 hours, it lasts 2:30, and the duration is due to the fact that we performed a deep dental cleaning and a Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal process with the SMART-IAOMT protocol on that day. All this for your protection and safety from exposure to mercury. We have tried on several occasions to arrange a clinical follow-up appointment with you to be able to re-evaluate your case and you have not shown up to any of the appointments we have arranged. We have not recommended you to perform a root canal, nor to perform an implant. We do not deceive our patients, so you are wrong to say that we do all this so that we can charge our patients more. We have NEVER recommended you to perform a root canal! We have NEVER recommended you to perform an implant! And we do not have a sales team. We are a medical services clinic, not a sales clinic! We want you to know that we are willing to help you in everything you need to treat your teeth and to REIMBURSE you 100% of your payment made just to show that our interest with you has never been ECONOMIC, our interest has been to HELP YOU and we regret that on your part it has not been perceived in that way. We take our work VERY seriously, we always seek EXCELLENCE in all our treatments and with all our patients, we work with the needs of people to improve their oral health, which is why we always appreciate the trust of all our patients. We have been in the market for 5 YEARS and have treated more than 1000 PATIENTS from different parts of the world. We are PROFESSIONALS in what we do and we do it with PASSION. IN CONCLUSION, we appreciate your comment, it helps us to improve and make a new informed consent in cases like yours, to avoid ending up being the culprits of situations that do not concern us.

Last year I went with my daughter to the dentist as she had several cavities that needed treatment and they wanted to put crowns on them. Looking for an alternative I spoke extensively with both doctors on the biohealth team and they assured me a smooth procedure with no added trauma for my daughter. not even a little sometimes up to 2 hours. Originally I was happy with the procedure until we came back home to Canada and things started falling apart, quite literally. The work that was done, was apparently horrible quality as she suffered from infections and abscesses on 2 different molars. 2 other filling broke or fell down, and next week she has to undergo and extensive treatment to fix all the bad work. It all costing so much more then the original procedure and leaving trauma on my daughter and some very shady work done on her teeth. I do no recommend this dentist at all and would suggest to stay far and clear from them and they will get your money and leave you worse than how you came in.

Hello Judith, we are very sorry to read your comment, but we do not agree with it. When we talked about your daughter's case in several calls and messages, the Pediatric Specialist told you that we would try to save your daughter's teeth since she had multiple deep cavities and chronic infections. However, saving your daughter's teeth required strict clinical and radiographic follow-ups, but even so, we could not guarantee the success of the treatments that we were going to perform, all of this is signed in the informed consent on your part. Our intention was to preserve your daughter's natural teeth, in addition to extracting the teeth or placing crowns on your daughter meant greater trauma and affecting her quality of life, bite and nutrition. These treatments were carried out more than 1 year ago, on August 31, 2023. To date, we have not been able to carry out and coordinate any clinical follow-up with you despite our attempts to do so, not even in our clinic so that the pediatric specialist can re-evaluate the case. It is important that you know that it is not possible for us to ensure the success of any treatment without carrying out the proper clinical follow-ups recommended by the doctor. Regarding the time of your appointments, it is important to mention that we plan your appointments 2 days in advance, this only to help you with the emergency and pain that your daughter had, however, we normally plan our appointments with enough time to ensure that we will not have problems with the hours of attention, since we have other appointments scheduled.
Dr Ariel and Dr Marialex were extremely hospitable. Super glad I made my decision to go with them. Affordable, communicative, and cognizant of my needs the whole way through. Even picked me up from the airport when I landed! Highly recommend!
My experience with BioHealth was very positive. I'm very happy with the results and the amazing service. The amalgam filling replacement was successful and safe; I felt protected. I highly recommend Dr. Ariel.
