Bio Implant Center

I went to Dr. Edgar for a zirconia crown. The previous (different) dentist who did my zirconia implant did not give me a crown placer, so the gap between my teeth had reduced. I asked him if anything could be done to increase the space in my teeth and he got a crown made that was extra tight to push my teeth back out. Unfortunately, this led to a misplaced crown. Fortunately, Dr. Edgar’s work comes with a guarantee. The initial misplaced crown raised some concerns but he took the time to talk on the phone and thoroughly answer my questions, reimbursed some of my expenses to travel back to the clinic to get the old crown removed and a new one placed. Through this process I got to know Dr. Edgar more and learnt that he was the first dentist in the area to work with zirconia implants. It’s clear he has a lot of knowledge and experience. He was accountable, listened to and addressed my concerns, and took the time to successfully remove and replace the misplaced crown.

I have been going to Bio implant for over 10 years now. I had 7 implants done, and after 10 years, I lost all of them. Last August Dr Montano had to make a partial denture who didn’t fit, so upon returning to California, has the Dr requested I sent back the partial denture and never received it.The receptionist told me that Fedex lost it,, they were unable to give me the confirmation number, My calls were never returned by the dentist, I find this very unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend Bio implant.

I was a client of Dr.Montano, I remember Dr. Montano say to me it doesn't matter where my implants were place as long as their in there which is not true because of nerves the implants has to be in the right place and have enough bone for the implant to take and last, I already have lost one implant and another is failing, two crowns has cracked and broke, bleeding with tingling, I regret everyday of the work Dr.Montano has done with my implants! one star rating or it wouldn't let me post, really no stars!! UPDATE! I was sent to a specialist for an evaluation and was told I need to have five implants removed and two teeth next to the implants has to be removed as well because of implant being put in wrong by dr. montano, more money after spending over 18,000 with montano unskilled work, I was told if this kind of work was done in the United States it would be a malpractice case! I would like monies refunded to use to do the work thats needed and eventually I will need a partial denture. So sad about this I want dr. montano to give me money to correct the mess he created!

We r back for one of My husbands follow up appointments. We r both extremely impressed with Dr Edgar & all of his staff. They r all very caring & professional, but above all Dr Edgar is a perfectionist. He obviously take very much pride in his work! We have met several of his patients from around the world & everyone says that he is the best. We continue to highly recommend him.

I am so happy I chose Dr. Edgar to be my dentist because he really cares that as his patient you are 100% satisfied with his dental work, whether it is dental implants that he did for me or my partial that he made sure was perfect in fit and color matching, and tooth shape, In my opinion this is the Doctor that more than goes out of his way to make everything perfect. All of his staff are as dedicated, they offered to stay after hours to accommodate me knowing I was traveling back and forth over the border. Minerva took her time in making sure my impressions and bite were exact. I love the fact that Doctor Edgar is dedicated to a holistic approach he knows that his dental approach affects the entire body. I was very sick When I arrived my first day, now I am healthy again. It is rather troubling to see this Dentist finally responding to my wifes grievance thru this forum, yet ignored her many efforts to resolve this issue behind the scene. What a facade. It is his attempt to do damage control. In my opinion this is the most crooked practice I have ever seen. Initially Bibi talked me into using their services as well, because she thought the dr was ”nice”, and I was on the verge of setting up an appointment with them but I quickly changed my mind when I suddenly noticed the way they constantly mistreated her. She would make many trips to Mexico and back just to fix the same issue over and over. It was excessive and disturbing. The front desk receptionist on the other hand, seems to have a personal problem with my wife for reasons best known to her, she talked rudely to her in person and over the phone. It made me so uncomfortable that Bibi lets this same people drill into her mouth. What bothered me even more was the day I called my wife to ask how the surgery went, only to hear her at the other end of the line slurring her words, she wasn’t coherent, she tried telling me the sedation was an overdose. You can imagine my worry. She was alone in far off Mexico in such a terrible condition, it scared me. I honestly don’t see how this clinic has these many positive ratings especially knowing how unethical they are. I do not recall this clinic ever apologizing for any botched job they did, instead I recall them being upset, they blamed my wife for any problem she complained about, and even threatened to sue her if she leaves a review. I accompanied my wife to Mexico this Saturday so she’d have family support, and also for these group of people to realize my wife is not a tree, that she has people who genuinely care for her, she comes from a large loving family, and so she didn’t deserve in any way to be treated like an abandoned property. We’ve so far had enough of this place, and will not be recommending their services to

I have been going to Dr. Edgar Montano for many years. I won't go anywhere else! I trust him completely with all of my dental issues and have had everything from crowns to implants, cleanings etc. I love that he does everything as naturally as possible and always explains what the differences are so I understand it. If you ever had an issue he always works to make it perfect. Even once the lab didn't do a perfect job and I didn't even notice but he said he wanted to do it over! Great person and dentist that I will go to forever!!!!

Dr. Montaño is a consummate professional - his dental practice is superb. I have been seeking out dental care from him for years and every time I have received excellent care and great results. His clinic is tastefully appointed (with a very modern feel to it) and the location is unbeatable: just a few minutes across the border. The supporting staff at the clinic were as knowledgeable and professional as Dr. Montano himself. I've gotten a front-tooth crown, molar crowns, and a dental implant with Dr. Montano and the results are simply unbeatable. Aesthetically (which was important, especially for my front tooth), the work he performed on my teeth is flawless. And thanks to Dr. Montano's work I've regained full dental health. Absolutely worth the visit.

This is the best dental clinic I've been to so far. Doctor Edgar Montano and his staff are very professional and accommodating. They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment. Doctor Montano also has one of the gentlest hands in the industry.I highly recommend this clinic especially if you want your teeth taken care of the right way. I traveled to Bio Implant Center from Red Bluff, California and I am very glad I made the trip. Dr. Montano is the best dentist I have ever had. He and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Karla, the receptionist, was especially helpful to me in planning my trip to Tijuana. During my first visit, Dr. Montano spent a considerable amount of time just talking with me about the dental work I needed and explaining the entire process. The next day, he removed an amalgam filling, extracted a tooth and placed a ceramic implant. Throughout the process, Dr. Montano repeatedly checked with me to ensure I was feeling no pain. The surgery was difficult, but the implant went in perfectly and has healed nicely. The professionalism, courtesy and skills of Dr. Montano and his staff make the time and expense of traveling to Tijuana for dental work worthwhile.
