He explains everything clearly and really gets involved with his patients; he doesn't "go in chains", but rather dedicates time and attention to you. Also, in my case, the splints arrived super fast, which also says a lot about his way of working. When I was discharged, I told him I didn't consider the result excellent, and he replied that it was a 10/10. In other words, he doesn't care about the patient's opinion or offer solutions to ensure patient satisfaction. With a response like that, you can't expect much more. You have to accept that you didn't choose well. I should also mention that Dr. Carlos doesn't usually do the follow-up appointments; he delegates them to his team, who then have to consult with him. I'm disappointed because I haven't achieved the expected result. In my opinion, he violated professional ethics by selling a treatment that couldn't deliver the level of excellence I was looking for. If he wasn't up to standard, he should have referred me to another doctor. I absolutely do not recommend him. For my children, I did a lot of research and made a fantastic choice with Dr. Fernando de la Iglesia. It's a shame I didn't choose him sooner. This is my advice for anyone looking for excellent orthodontics in Barcelona.

Without informing you from the beginning, they make you sign a discharge form after you've invested over €3,000 and give you three splints that you have to wear for two years. Don't sell snake oil, take your work seriously, be more transparent, and thoroughly study the patient files and needs when they come to you. And if you don't know how to do something, don't admit it and refund the money. You're absolutely right. Cheap… WITH YOU… ends up being expensive. I hope my experience is an isolated one. And that it's as good as some of the reviews I've seen. My experience: very nice. I can't deny that. But I would have been better off spending a little more… For a more complete and professional service. Invisalign works… but it has to be done by good professionals. Skilled people who strive to provide good service. Come on… put in the effort… And in this case… that's not the case. They're all about volume… without looking at results… It didn't work for me. They filed down my teeth to simulate alignment, and after it didn't work, they suggested a reconstruction of the areas where it hadn't worked. What's more, they file down your teeth… all of them, without telling you what they're going to do, filing down the length of your teeth without your permission… And they don't care what you tell them. “It's not working,” “I have this problem”… and they… act like they can't hear a thing. Halfway through the treatment, for them… it was over! Without even checking if the projected alignment was actually achieved or not. I wish I had gone to a decent dentist and a better clinic… I've wasted two years for minimal alignment that never even happened. And the worst part is, it's a center I have absolutely no confidence in, that they have the good judgment to do this job properly. I absolutely do not recommend them. Oh! I read a comment about the cleaning they do (which all centers do at the end of the treatment): yes, it's true, a completely ineffective mess.
Hi. After getting quotes from many clinics, I found this one, which was very reasonably priced. A little skeptical, I decided to have the treatment here, and honestly, I'm almost finished and I'm absolutely thrilled. Both Carlos and the receptionists are very friendly. Carlos has answered all my questions and is giving me a fantastic smile. I recommend it 100%.
But seriously—I don't believe the 5-star reviews here for this guy. I wish I'd gone to a place with a decent professional. They keep offering me braces! After getting this one… because it didn't work! Quite the opposite—recent gums, teeth full of glue… after 3 years! My problem is that I came to this clinic because it was cheaper… and I wasted €2400, my time, and the health of my teeth and gums……

Dear Francisco, As I tell all my first-time patients, they shouldn't expect perfect teeth with the short treatment... the short treatment is limited by the number of aligners, and therefore some things can't be corrected 100%. So, patients who understand this choose the long treatment knowing there won't be any limitations on tooth movement... But expecting something good, beautiful, and cheap... that's not the case in my clinic or any other. I understand you're disappointed, but if you chose the short treatment because of the price or for whatever reason, that was your decision. P.S. I remind you that when you first came to the clinic, you mentioned having a bad experience at another clinic whose name I won't mention... but it's clear you were looking for what everyone else is looking for: something good, beautiful, and very cheap... Terrible. I would never recommend this place. All my teeth started shifting because they tried to rush the treatment. I developed gingivitis, and when I asked for a follow-up appointment, they treated me like I was exaggerating. I've been twice now for maintenance veneers, and they're never available.
