Attentive and friendly staff, high-quality cleaning at a good price, beautiful location. We're happy with everything.
Feruza did a 3-stage cleaning very gently and carefully, everyone was very pleasant and there was a TV for the patient.

Thanks for sharing your impressions! See you again soon!
There's always a footnote here for adding a photo. There aren't any, but I highly recommend visiting this medical center yourself, if necessary. Besides the smiles and warmth that greet you immediately, you receive highly qualified care. And since I have something to compare it to, I can say right away that no one has ever treated my teeth so easily and painlessly! I highly recommend it!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We look forward to seeing you again!
My husband and I went for a teeth cleaning and polishing during the special offer. The staff was excellent and professional, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Kristina, thank you for your feedback, we are very pleased!
After this clinic and the doctors who treated me there, they didn't treat me, they sucked my money out, tortured me for almost two months, and then I had to go to another clinic to pay everything over again. Then I found out that I was treated incorrectly and three teeth were extracted in vain. I think the doctors there don't even have a license, and the whole treatment process they offered me was…

The clinic is terrible. Firstly, it's very far from the city. Secondly, the doctors there aren't doctors, but businessmen who won't treat your teeth. They immediately suggest extracting teeth and installing implants. Even though they're not interested in whether the tooth supports the treatment; their main goal is to make money from the implants. So think carefully before going there. Firstly,…

it's very expensive. I had to have all my treatment done again afterward.

About
What this clinic actually does.
Astra Dental Clinic is a modern, implant-focused dental practice located at 30A Didgori Street in Tbilisi, Georgia. Founded in 2020, the clinic has rapidly established itself as a leading destination for dental implants and complex restorative dentistry in Tbilisi, built on a team of 10 experienced dentists who collectively bring 15+ years of combined expertise and have placed over 50,000 implants. Astra Dental Clinic operates Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 20:00 and offers both in-person and online consultations for patients considering treatment in Tbilisi.
A key differentiator of Astra Dental Clinic is its "Teeth in 1–3 Days" restoration programme — a same-day or next-day implant-based restoration service that gives international dental tourists the ability to complete significant treatment during a short stay in Tbilisi. Free transfers to and from the clinic are provided for non-resident patients, further reducing the logistical burden of travelling for dental care.

The implant department covers single-stage (immediate) implants, All-on-4, and All-on-6 full-arch restorations, as well as sinus lift procedures for patients with insufficient bone height. Restorative services encompass crowns and prosthetics, endodontic treatment, and caries treatment using light-curing nano-composite materials from the USA and Japan. Additional services include orthodontics for teeth alignment, professional cleaning (ultrasound and Air Flow), and oral surgery and extractions. Gum treatment ensures periodontal health supports all restorative work.
Technology & FacilitiesAstra Dental Clinic uses the globally trusted OSSTEM implant system — one of the world's best-selling and most clinically validated implant brands — for all implant procedures. Restorations use E.max Press ceramic for superior translucency and aesthetics, alongside American and Japanese nano-composite materials for direct restorations. Digital imaging and diagnostics underpin the clinic's treatment planning, supporting the precision required for immediate-loading and full-arch cases. The gnathology department, led by Petr Chursin, addresses bite and jaw-joint issues that can affect the success of restorative work.

Questions
What people ask this clinic.
Why is placing 50,000 implants a meaningful milestone for Astra Dental Clinic?
Volume matters in implant dentistry because surgical skill improves with repetition and complication management becomes sharper over time. Astra Dental Clinic in Tbilisi has placed more than 50,000 implants since its founding in 2020, which is an extraordinary output for a clinic of its age. This figure means the surgical team has encountered and successfully managed the full spectrum of implant cases: straightforward single-tooth placements, complex cases with bone grafting, immediate loading scenarios, and full-arch rehabilitations. For a patient choosing where to place an implant, a clinic that has done 50,000 procedures offers a fundamentally different risk profile than one that has done 5,000. Astra's volume is a direct proxy for clinical confidence and problem-solving depth.
What is the OSSTEM implant system and why does Astra Dental Clinic use it?
OSSTEM is a South Korean implant manufacturer and the largest implant company in Asia, with a global installed base of tens of millions of implants. Astra Dental Clinic in Tbilisi uses OSSTEM as its primary implant system because of its strong clinical evidence base, its compatibility with a wide range of prosthetic components, and its availability of replacement parts in any country, which matters for patients who return home after treatment. OSSTEM implants have been on the market for over 25 years and are supported by extensive published research. For patients who are not familiar with implant brands, OSSTEM sits alongside Straumann, Nobel Biocare, and Zimmer Biomet as a globally recognised and trusted system. Astra's choice of OSSTEM reflects its commitment to predictable, long-term outcomes.
What does teeth in 1 to 3 days mean at Astra Dental Clinic and how does the protocol work?
Teeth in 1 to 3 days at Astra Dental Clinic refers to an immediate loading protocol where implants are placed and a fixed provisional set of teeth is attached before the patient leaves the clinic. In a conventional implant approach, a patient waits three to six months after implant placement for osseointegration before receiving teeth. Immediate loading bypasses this wait by attaching a temporary prosthesis to the implants on the day of surgery or within the following day or two, provided bone density and implant stability meet the threshold required. Astra's surgical team assesses implant stability torque values intraoperatively to confirm that immediate loading is safe. The final definitive prosthesis is fitted later once full integration is confirmed. This protocol is particularly valuable for international patients who cannot stay in Tbilisi for months.
How does the free airport transfer service at Astra Dental Clinic work in practice?
Astra Dental Clinic in Tbilisi offers complimentary airport transfers for patients arriving from abroad, which is a practical gesture that reduces the stress of a first visit to an unfamiliar city. When you confirm your appointment, you provide your flight details and Astra arranges for a driver to meet you at Tbilisi International Airport arrivals. The transfer takes you directly to the clinic or to your accommodation, depending on scheduling. This service removes the need to navigate public transport or negotiate with taxi drivers after a long flight, and it ensures you arrive at the clinic on time for your consultation. It is a small but meaningful signal of how Astra treats international patients and is consistent with the clinic's broader focus on making dental tourism as smooth as possible.
Does placing a high volume of implants increase or decrease the failure rate at a clinic like Astra Dental?
High implant volume at an experienced clinic like Astra Dental Clinic in Tbilisi is associated with lower, not higher, failure rates. The primary driver of implant failure is surgical error or case selection error, both of which decrease as a surgeon accumulates experience. Astra's team has placed over 50,000 implants, meaning the surgeons have developed finely tuned judgment about which cases are straightforward, which require bone grafting, and which should be deferred. High volume also means the clinic has encountered complications such as nerve proximity, sinus floor issues, and poor bone density many times and has established protocols for managing them. The OSSTEM system Astra uses has its own strong published survival data, further supporting the expected outcome quality.
What happens on day one of the teeth-in-a-day procedure at Astra Dental Clinic?
Day one at Astra Dental Clinic for a teeth-in-a-day case begins with final imaging if not already completed, typically a CBCT scan to map bone volume and plan implant positions digitally. The surgical phase follows under local anaesthesia, with implants placed at pre-planned positions in the jaw. Immediately after placement, implant stability is measured using a device that confirms whether the bone-to-implant contact is sufficient for immediate loading. If stability values are adequate, the temporary fixed prosthesis is attached before the patient leaves. The whole surgical day typically takes several hours including rest and preparation time. Astra provides written aftercare instructions and pain management guidance. Patients are reviewed the following day to check healing and bite adjustment before any further steps are taken.
What bone density is needed to qualify for immediate implants at Astra Dental Clinic?
Immediate implant loading at Astra Dental Clinic requires that the implant achieves a minimum insertion torque value, typically 35 Newton-centimetres or above, at the time of placement. This value is a proxy for bone density and the quality of the bone-to-implant interface. Patients with good bone volume in the relevant jaw region typically meet this threshold. Where bone has been lost due to long-term tooth absence or gum disease, Astra's team will assess whether a bone grafting procedure is required first, which adds time to the overall treatment plan. A pre-treatment CBCT scan is used to evaluate bone width, height, and density at each planned implant site. Astra has placed over 50,000 implants and is experienced at identifying which patients are and are not suitable for immediate loading.
How much does All-on-4 at Astra Dental Clinic cost compared with Western Europe?
An All-on-4 procedure at Astra Dental Clinic in Tbilisi using OSSTEM implants costs substantially less than the equivalent treatment in Western Europe. In Germany, the Netherlands, or the UK, a single-arch All-on-4 with a fixed prosthesis typically ranges from 12,000 to 20,000 euros. Astra Dental Clinic can provide the same procedure using a globally recognised implant system for a fraction of that cost, with savings that often cover flights and accommodation several times over. The pricing difference reflects Georgia's lower labour and operational costs rather than any compromise in materials or technique. Patients are encouraged to request a detailed quote from astradentalclinic.com with their CBCT scan or panoramic X-ray for an accurate case-specific estimate.
What should I eat during the first week after an implant procedure at Astra Dental Clinic?
During the first week after implant surgery at Astra Dental Clinic, patients are advised to stick to soft foods that require minimal chewing and do not put pressure on healing sites. Good options include yoghurt, smoothies, mashed potato, soft-cooked eggs, soup without hard chunks, and pureed vegetables. Hard foods, crunchy foods, seeds, and anything that requires biting are avoided. Alcohol and smoking are strongly discouraged as both impair healing and increase failure risk. Tbilisi has plenty of soft-food options available in local restaurants and convenience stores, making recovery in the city practical. Astra provides a written post-operative diet guide at discharge, and because the clinic team is available for questions, any concerns about what to eat can be addressed quickly.
What follow-up protocol does Astra Dental Clinic use for patients who have returned home?
Astra Dental Clinic in Tbilisi has a structured remote follow-up protocol for international patients who return home after treatment. Patients receive a clinical summary document with full details of the implants placed, including brand, size, and position, which can be shared with a local dentist if needed. Follow-up check-ins are conducted via video consultation at agreed intervals to review healing and assess whether the definitive prosthesis phase can proceed. Photographs and X-rays requested by Astra can be taken at a local clinic and shared remotely. For the final prosthesis fitting, patients return to Astra in Tbilisi, and the free airport transfer is again available. The clinic's experience with over 50,000 implant cases means its remote coordination process is well practised and clearly communicated.
