Careful about this dentist. I went in and he told me I had 12 cavities and he needed to pull out my wisdom teeth (which have grown in perfectly with no pain). I then started to research if I had an underlying health condition to cause so many cavities and started questioning my wellbeing. Canada and got a second opinion from my family dentist with proper x-rays and they told me I only had 2 minor cavities and that everything else was a stain and that I don't need to worry. I felt completely ripped off and it was clear he was just trying to get money from me since I'm a forginer. He also was putting pressure on me to come in for the appointments within a week to fill 12 cavities. I wouldn't trust him or his practice.

Christina, I am very sorry for your experience, I always take the time to explain problems and treatments the best i can and I always ask if the patient understood everything or has any questions but I am sorry I was not clear with my explanation. I wish you could write me by Whatsapp, mail or here and you can give me your full name so I can review your medical history and give you an answer consistent with what you comment here, as it is very different from my way of working. I have never charged a person more for being a foreigner, so it is very difficult for me to agree with you because it is not my way of working. In fact, I would rather tell an uncomfortable truth than a comforting lie. Finally with feeling pressured, I am very professional and I have no need to pressure anyone to have any treatment. Normally, what we do in dental clinics when patients miss appointments is to send reminders and confirm appointments so that gap is not left empty and if the patient cannot come, give that appointment to another patient. If you have felt pressured, I am sorry but it is only to confirm the appointment. Gonzalo is an excellent dentist who I had a great experience with. He did a very good job with replacing a filling that had fallen out and he even was nice enough to ship me the night guard they created for me. He was very professional and I would feel very confident in doing any future dental work with him.

I went in first for a teeth cleaning (and growing up my mom was a hygienist). This dentist is just as good as my mom. Super friendly and professional. Does excellent work. A few days later I came in for some fillings. His injections were the least painful I’ve ever experienced, there was zero pain during the procedure and the result is great. I was on vacation and my prosthesis broke! Thank goodness I found Dr Gonzalo. He set me up with a new prosthesis after scanning my teeth. Also filled two cavities. It really was a terrific experience. So good that my wife and I returned to have our teeth cleaned and I'm looking to return next year to have further work done. We had a great experience! My husband and I went in for a cleaning - but we thought my husband may have some more serious issues- which he did. We started with a root canal, but our Doctor back home advised us to have the tooth pulled instead. Me and my wife are very happy with the treatment that we had at this location Art-Dent .Gonzalo is a very good dentist he took the time to explain all in advance and he took good care of us. We recommand Gonzalo all the way 5 star treatment. Got a 3 tooth bridge for 1/3 of the price compared to here in Canada my wife got a crown on a front tooth and she is very proud with it . Had root canal and crown done. The crown gave me problems and went back and he charged me again for adjusting it. It continually gave me problems which I found the root canal was not done correctly. His response was wait 6 weeks and when I did and still had problems, his response was he didn’t have time. charged me multiple times and wasn’t honest about the price he told me and what he ended up charging me. I ended up going somewhere else and was shocked at the difference in professionalism and work. He has 1 chair and you’re his assistant so not the most professional. Don’t recommend unless you want to be nickel and dimed because he doesn’t guaranteed his work or your comfort. He’s more expensive than the other professional clinics in Playa as well. He was rude and arrogant and do not recommend him or his work.

Michelle, we understand your frustration, but what you're saying here is wrong. We have already explained to you that the crown you're complaining about was NOT made by us. It's a crown you had a long time ago. It's actually a metal-ceramic crown, and we only work with metal-free Zirconium. We INVITE you to the office to show you the previous x-rays and the 3D digital scan of your entire mouth. You can see that crown already made in your mouth, but you didn't want to come... We don't understand your comment. We're not rude or arrogant! We are still available so you can come to the office and see for yourself that the crown you're complaining about was NOT MADE BY US! Fast, courteous, and professional service. A serious toothache was quickly resolved by Dr. Gonzalo, who performed a root canal and fitted a crown. Very reasonable price, highly recommended.

In the middle of my Holliday trip my front tooth broke. I contacted Dr Gonzalo and within two days I had an appointment! The tooth filling is done extremely well- better than my regular dentist in Germany. The dental clinic is very modern and clean. Dr Gonzales guided me through all steps of the procedure and explained everything in detail. I am super happy with the results!

I had to get a root canal treatment and luckily could get an appointment the next day! Dr. Gonzalo took great care of making me feel secure and relaxed during the treatment. I really felt like in good hands and I’m more than happy with the outcome of the procedure! I can warmly recommend coming here if you need a special taking care of anything.

I went in for teeth whitening and loved the results. From then on, I kept going back for repairs, a bruxism splint, and then another whitening treatment, and the results were always excellent. Highly recommended!

Best dentist in town. Very skilled, patient and enthusiastic. I did 7 implants in less than 3 hours with no pain and started healed in 3 days. The price was very reasonable. I will be back in 4 months to do the crowns. Don’t be fooled by by the dentists who offer to pick you up for free or free one night hotel stay. This Dr is very skilled. Thanks Doctor.
