Went to the “TMJ Specialist” only for him to tell me he has no idea how to help me or know anything about my TMJ situation in general. Was in and out in 2minutes and still had to pay 25000HUF. Left the clinic frustrated and crying. So upset about these “specialists” leaving me hopeless and yet happily taking my money.
I went to Eszter for tartar removal and teeth whitening, everything was fine, she was kind. I recommend them.
Dr. Máté Salga asked when the crown on my tooth was, even though it wasn't. 😂 Bravo! 👏 How did he get his degree? Before the medical consultation, they wanted to take a panoramic X-ray right away, which later turned out to be unnecessary. I do not recommend the place. …

Dear Petra, We would like to clarify your misunderstanding: Dr. Máté Salga did not ask when your crown was, but wanted to clarify whether you had any direct veneers on your tooth before, since the tooth surface was too regular compared to the natural one. X-rays are part of the protocol in our office, since not all problems are visible to the naked eye. This is part of the full consultation, the purpose of which is to thoroughly assess the patient with all available diagnostic tools. The doctor also informed you about this and based on your reactions, we thought that you understood the process. When you left, you did not report any problems at the reception, we are very sorry that it turned out this way, because we could have answered the questions described here in person. I had peroxide-free teeth whitening at the clinic, the results were nice, my teeth became a shade or two lighter, but unfortunately it wasn't very long-lasting, after a few weeks my teeth returned to their original color, even though I paid attention to the color-free diet. Next time I'll try the peroxide one.

I have been looking for a permanent dentist for a long time and through a promotion I came to the clinic, where the treatment was great. You get care, attention and kindness from all the colleagues here. I am grateful for it and will definitely come back again.

I have used several of their oral hygiene services /Ultrasonic tartar removal, Airflow teeth cleaning, In-office peroxide-free teeth whitening procedure/ and I have always been very satisfied with the results. Kind, helpful doctors, polite patient-centered assistance, cultured environment, zero waiting time. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

I was afraid to go, but I am completely satisfied, everyone was kind, people-oriented. I had tartar removal and teeth whitening, everything went flawlessly. They were helpful, "they listened to my every wish", I can't say a single negative thing! There should be more places like this, no matter what service!

a tooth I could see a cavity on. Although I didn't have any previous pain. As a first step I received an offer about the costs via email. I was already surprised by the consultation fee, but due to my short time window I thought I could accept that. The final cost for two teeth were 100.008 HUF (250 Euros). My main issues 1, Without even meeting the dentist I was told he asked for a panoramic x-ray. I found that odd, but I'm way too submissive in such situations. Also I never received the x-ray. 2, Then I was informed that I'd need three fillings, but on that day maybe two will be manageable. I was briefly shown some costs, but I was already sitting in the chair and things were happening quite fast. 3. The procedure was ok, although I would prefer to be informed about every step, but that's a personal thing. The doctor wasn't a native speaker, that might affect his communicational skills. However I felt like a piece of a problem that they just want to get rid of. During the first sitting an electric drill/tool wasn't working, the assistance had to borrow one from a different dentist. Ok, things can happen... 4, Due to the lidocaine I couldn't tell properly whether the filling was perfect, but the doctor had to adjust the height already twice. In the end I had to return the next day as one of my tooth became extremely sensitive (although I had zero pain before the visits). I was informed via phone that this is "very normal" (although it never happened to me before) and my filling is probably too high. I returned and I had some adjustments again. However the next day I couldn't eat again due to the very prominent pain. As I lost my faith in the doctor and I also didn't want to wait two and a half days without eating anything solid, I visited a different dentist. Who didn't just adjust the height, but finally polished the surface of the fillings that were extremely rough. This help cost me an extra 15.000 HUF (37 Euros). 5, The dentist was late both times, the meetings started 15 minutes after of the agreed appointments. Based on his outfit and gears he arrived late by a motorcycle (which I consider a reliable transportation in Budapest), casually walking in and even having a chat with some colleagues. The second day I was taken care of in the beginning of someone else's appointment, so that patient definitely had some major delays. Even though everyone was very polite at Lovag utca I feel very disappointed. This place is definitely more expensive that you can count on. The main problem is, that you won't know that until a point where just a few patients would walk away (when you already should pay for the consultation and the x-ray, so at least 25.000 HUF). I didn't read the reviews before, but I can see that this is a common practice. The hidden costs or being casually late are one thing. But the botched teeth are something else. I'm still not sure if I have to go somewhere else and ask to do the filling from scratch or not. But right now I'm optimistic as I was taken good care today by a very nice team. I'm sure there are great services here, but this kind of business model screams volumes. So insist for a detailed consultation (especially if they charge that!) and clarify all the costs before the procedure. Or just simply go somewhere else where there are no hidden costs and the results are more reliable.
The worst clinic I've ever been to. They completely unreasonably ground down my tooth and now they have to rebuild it all. I went there with an inflamed tooth and they deliberately didn't treat it well so that I would go there as often as possible. I can't recommend it at all, in fact...
