Not only was the quality of care exceptional, but the cost savings compared to what I would have paid in Canada was substantial. They were transparent about pricing, with no hidden fees, and they even helped coordinate transportation and accommodations, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. If you're considering dental work abroad, I cannot recommend American Dental highly enough. They combine world-class dental care with the warmth and hospitality Costa Rica is known for. Vargas took great care in explaining the results from our cone beam scans and helping us put a plan together that fit our needs and budget. Then Dr Vargas and his team consisting of Solis, Cruz, Murillo, and several others move forward with this plan. It was quite amazing! We left with many zirconium post put in. I also left with Invisalign braces that over the next seven months, straightened teeth that had moved over time. Jump ahead to February 2025. This time we visited their clinic in Huacas and had another great experience. The majority of the work was performed by Rebeka Jimenez and Kristy finishing up the work that had started last July. These two were like sisters working so well together and making sure our every concern and needs were addressed. We were so impressed with Rebeka and her attention to detail. Dr. Solis drove out to Huacas from San Jose to place another zirconium post in for each of us since it wasn't feasible last year until bone grafting took hold. We look forward to our return to finalize the major work started last year. Vargas and his team focus on holistic dental work, and he has the most high-tech equipment to make the experience remarkable! whole process stress-free. We were treated by three incredible professionals. Dr. Ignacio Vargas is, without a doubt, hands down, the best —knowledgeable, skilled, and genuinely caring. The doctor who performed my mom’s implant surgery (I regret not caching his name) was just as amazing —highly knowledgeable and kind. And Dr. Gabriela Murillo? Absolutely amazing! Not only are all three of them highly professional, but their warm personality also made every visit so much easier. The entire team at America Dental is exceptional. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Communication was smooth and easy, and the level of professionalism is unmatched. If you’re considering dental work, this is the place to go. They’re not just medical professionals—they’re people you can trust to do an outstanding job.
