I had an amazing experience by removing my braces and making retainer in Dr.Eka clinic. She is really professional doctor! I highly recommend to foreigners her as the the best orthodontist in Bali. I was impressed by the quality of the services.

y polished after the cleaning, because tartar appeared again after just two weeks. I have never experienced this before; usually it lasts at least three months, often up to six months. But here, heavy tartar returned in only two weeks. Later, my small cavity was treated. Three months have passed, but the tooth still hurts, and the pain has become so severe that I can hardly sleep. Moreover, about a month ago, I noticed a new damage on the side of the same tooth. If the dentist had properly treated the cavity, a new cavity could not have appeared on the same tooth within just two months. Additionally, another clinic told me that the filling was not done professionally because it was very large. Now I will have to have the nerves removed from this tooth due to incorrect treatment by this clinic’s dentist, which would not have been necessary with proper care. Perhaps this is just my own unfortunate experience, but unfortunately, I do not recommend this clinic. Update: This review refers exactly to my visits to this clinic. One of my appointments was on November 4, 2025. Procedures included professional dental cleaning and tooth treatment. This feedback is based solely on my personal experience. Update: I understand that it may be difficult to remember every patient. Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt, as the visit was about three months ago. However, I confirm that I visited your clinic and received professional dental cleaning and tooth treatment. Hi, I believe you wrote review on the wrong page. Can you check again? Update: I’ve checked multiple times, and no record of you was found in our system. We only have 1 patient on November 4th 2025 and it was not your name or the treatment you mentioned. I even check on whatsapp or history of you ever contacting us and found nothing. If you sure this is not a mistake, please kindly provide receipt/payment or any proof that can help both of us address this issue since this could negatively affect our reputation Thank you Update: We don’t just remember our patients, but we do have a record system for each patient from registration form to billing system. It records every detail from the patient, including treatments, dates, and appointment times. If you don’t have the receipt, maybe you can check bank payment history or a screenshot of your history/WhatsApp chat with us (which at least shows an appointment confirmation). If you can’t give any of that, unfortunately we can’t take this misplaced review and will report this review for removal. Regards, drg. We checked carefully and found no record of your visit—no appointment, no chats, nothing. From what you wrote, it doesn’t sound like you were treated by me. We even asked politely for any proof, but nothing was provided. We get that you’re confident about your experience, but without any evidence, this review is unfortunately misplaced.
We messaged them same day and they were able to see us to check my teeth after getting hit by a surfboard. They were really kind and gave us the peace of mind we were looking for. I recommend them if you are looking for a dentist in Ubud!

s around IDR 2.5 million. In the end, I received a filling for which I was charged IDR 950,000. This price is nearly double what I have paid in other dental clinics for the same treatment. For a small cabinet located behind a pharmacy, these prices appear very expensive compared to larger and fully equipped clinics on the island. Patients naturally expect fair and transparent pricing, especially in such a setting. Finally, at the conclusion of the treatment, I found the manner of communication unnecessarily abrupt, which unfortunately left me with a less positive impression. Thank you for your honest feedback — I truly appreciate it. However, to avoid any misunderstanding, I’d like to clarify a few things. I’ve always been transparent about my pricing, which is within the range agreed upon by our dental association in East Bali. Since every case is different, the cost varies accordingly. Your case, for instance, was not a simple filling, as the restoration covered almost 360° of the tooth surface. To be fair, that already falls under the category of a direct veneer, which typically costs even more. Many clinics prefer to use fancy terms or break down their pricing into many details, but from the beginning, I’ve always preferred to keep things simple. I don’t feel the need to list every single step — consultation and examination, anesthesia, removal of the old filling, lining, 360° veneer, and so on — because in the end, the total cost would be the same or even higher. The price I state is always the final total price. For example (to also answer your question about root canal treatment), the 10 million is not just for the root canal itself — it already includes the full treatment to save your tooth, including the final restoration (a ceramic crown), because I always view the treatment as a whole. I’m also sorry if the way I communicated didn’t meet your expectations. Usually, I try to adapt my communication style to each patient, because over my 7 years of experience, I’ve learned that everyone communicates differently. Some patients prefer minimal explanation and simply trust me with their teeth. Some appreciate detailed explanations about every step. And some, unfortunately, refuse to listen and even make unreasonable demands for conditions that aren’t suitable for their case. In moments like that, I have to know where I stand — not to lose my ground as a dentist who genuinely cares and wants the best for her patients. At the end of the day, if someone can’t see that, it’s okay. I still wish them the best and hope they find a place that meets their expectations. I just hope such people won’t go around trying to belittle someone else’s hard work and investment when they know nothing about it. 🙏🏻

visit. With good foreign health insurance, you can even get the costs reimbursed (bring the receipt with you!). To find it, you have to go through the pharmacy. Don't be surprised by the small space.
